Fruit based soft confections were perceived as cheap commodities, unhygienic and unhealthy ",Jellies", in consumer markets. Also parents have a guilt associated when they let their kids indulge in such confectionery. The challenge was consumer acceptance and elevating a mere commodity into a brand experience. The packaging design had to appeal
to kids, tween and youth. Also it had to accentuate real fruit pulp factor. Each element of the brand experience had to narrate a story of ',real fruit fun',. Falero is a good example of a successful brand created without advertising.
