A Global Telecom network provider revamps its test and inspection product with a Cloud-driven Enterprise Mobility Solution in order to simplify the field testing process. The solution would allow over 10,000 technicians to carry out tests of Fiber optic network to inspect and fix the issues in real-time.
The requirement was for smart apps that would communicate with the hardware to enable the technicians to conduct the
tests. Saviant mobility experts devised a cross-platform native mobile app solution using Xamarin development framework for Android and iOS platforms. With the use of Smart Test Services Application, the client was able to achieve an efficient workflow management solution that can handle more than 100,000 Fiber-optic tests to be conducted by over 2000 field-technicians, achieving a significant decrease in time needed for error detection &, resolution of networks.
