Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m one of the owners of Industrial Power Products, an industrial battery charger labor provider.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Saviant Consulting?
We wanted to switch away from a paper-based agency to more of a mobile and web platform. Our staff was having a lot of issues with lost work orders, which would result in unbilled labor, missing schedule, and more. Having a digital solution would help our technicians, salespeople, and client support team.
Provided solution
What was the aim of their involvement?
In the commencement, we tried to work with different platforms like Salesforce Field Service Lightning but establish that they were too customized. The functions weren',t right for our business. Based on that experience, we wrote out a wish list of what we needed and how things should work.
Saviant Consulting took that document and came back with a offer for our project. They premeditated how we actd and came up with a technical roadmap for a solution that could help execute our goals. That included an iOS/Android mobile app for our technicians, a client-facing mobile app, and a website.
The website serves as our dispatching center. It gives us access to all of our clients’ information (i.e., touch information, equipment list, billing address), which helps us handle our work orders and quotes. The website also automatically creates work orders for recurring or programned livelihood.
What is the team compound?
They have a mobile team and web team, both working with a project handler.
How did you come to work with Saviant Consulting?
We establish them through Google and reflection that their access was more forcible than the other companies we’d interviewed.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent close to $300,000.
What is the terminal result of working with Saviant Consulting?
We began working with them in August 2018, and the engagement is ongoing. We’ve just been following the roadmap that they’d proposed.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
No other organisation in my activity has got anything like what they’ve created. Before, we were writing off upwards of $50,000-worth of schedule each year. But now we’re relying more on the solution to act.
How did Saviant Consulting accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
It’s been a big experience so far. They have a consummate process where they map out the work in two-week sprints. We then check in each week to hint any changes we’d like. At the end of each sprint, they do a demonstration.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Saviant Consulting?
It’s their process that stands out. They give me a schedule and keep with it. Now, we’re heading into our fourth and terminal phase of the project.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No, I’m a huge fan of theirs, and I’m more than ready to talk to their clients.
