Working closely with the founding team to co-create the app, we helped craft the strategy, design and experience of the product for the iOS platform. This included working on visual design, information architecture, user experience, rapid prototyping and delivery of the final product.
Our aim was to define a strategy, design and technology that could power an elegant and simple app that makes it easy to find the best
trainers and fitness facilities nearby. Our approach was to create a bold and powerful branding of the product that also facilitated clarity in messaging. After doing considerable product research, we opted for a darker user interface design to place focus on visual elements that are most important to users when selecting fitness professionals and facilities which included key elements such as Trainer/Facility’s Images, Ratings, Price and Training Experience or Certification. Another factor towards opting for a dark background was because of its high efficiency and attractiveness in cases when interface is based more on graphics than copy, which was the case with our app. Here’s a brief list of features included in the app:- Flash feed to scroll through all nearby available fitness trainers and facilities
- Session booking experience and in-app payments
- Advanced search view based on inputs such as training type, availability and price range
- Detailed profiles of trainers and facilities with user-generated rating and reviews
- In-app chat for queries and pre-session tips and guidelines for users
