3Step Mobile App Development review by Arteria Association at Qualified. One

3Step reviewed by Arteria Association

3Step provided Mobile App Development for Arteria Association with approximate budget = 10000.

The finished apps perfectly encapsulated the original vision and attracted between 200 and 300 active users at their greatest popularity. Both were accessible, intuitive, and easy to navigate. 3Step communicated promptly, offered creative ideas, and genuinely cared about the project’s mission.

Review summary:

3Step developed Android and iOS apps that showcased audio interviews. The apps utilized geolocation, integrated with Google TalkBack, and prioritized accessibility for all users.

Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

Arteria Association is an NGO that works with minorities at different levels, introducing them to and educating them almost penetration. We tackle new media, art, and history, usually using devices. Our projects empower nation to form comic books, and children from undereduceed areas to film movies.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with 3Step?

The leading phase was creating an audio lead for a shipyard using the tones of female workers. Although that shipyard is symbolic to our city, no one knew its story. No one knew that many of its female workers were cast away. The women’s rights motion was embedded in the strikes, but its history was later erased. Our goal was to engender local loftiness using female tones.

We worked with female citizens employed there, gathering their interviews and creating an audio lead and app with their tones and stories. I was responsible for creating the mockups and educeing the vision behind the app.

The project not only showcased the stories of shipyard workers, but also showed senior citizens how to use tactile devices like smartphones. We checked to see if they liked the app. It wasn’t just aimed at nation who were interested in the shipyard, it was also a tax to senior citizens.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were 3Step responsible for?

We gave them our basic idea, a list of requirements, and full. We described the mechanics of the app, including geolocation and other features. E3Step handled all else, including UI/UX design. Our full emerged from four years of investigation. We were the questional experts. We had the photos, but the visual programning was their responsibility.

I worked with their picturesque designer. Even though we worked remotely, they were sentient to our feedback and constantly tweaked the work. They premade app components, which reduced the cost, but also tweaked the features based on our usage.

My main interest was whether the app could be used in a mode other than visually—such as through tone commands—to make it affable to impaired nation. That was one of the changes that 3Step made. They adjusted the app so it could be used with Google TalkBack on Android. The app was also useful on iOS.

We had a very firm budget, and iOS wasn',t common in Poland. Android made up 78% of the market. Some nation used a Windows Phone, but they only made up 6–7% of the market. Since most of our users were on Android, we determined to create the app for that platform. At the end of the project, we obtained a specific quantity of money and asked 3Step if they would form an iOS rendering. They suitd. I was responsible only for Android testing, while my boss handled iOS.

Was there a dedicated team?

I was responsible for all new media, including interrogation, testing, and coordination with teachers and other resources. I led interacted with 3Step. Five of their nation were implicated, including two educeers and one project director. If we had an effect, I could straightly touch whichever the project director or the educeers.

How did you come to work with 3Step?

We announced that we needed programmers, and they establish us. We couldn’t select based on condition of work or other factors. We could only suit on the cost, but we’re lucky to have chosen 3Step. Their offerings were pliant, and interaction flowed well. We accepted other offers, but the interaction was not as grateful, even at the commencement.

What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?

We spent 30,000 Poland zloty (approachly $8,000 USD) on their work. We accepted a big give and wrote an interrogation with our full vision. Under Polish law, it',s mandatory that you select the cheapest provider when working with a give.

3Step was the cheapest discretion, but they were in Krakow and we were in Gdansk. We were interested almost the interval, but it worked out fully. If the law had been different, we would',ve quiet worked with them. We would’ve been unlucky if another aspirant offered a lower cost.

What is the terminal result of working with 3Step?

The project began in 2015, and we began working with 3Step in August 2015. The app launched on International Women',s Day, on March 8, 2016.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

The terminal app looks very much like the leading draft. Their design was winning, clean, and easy to use. We were amazed when we saw the leading mockup they made.

We accepted almost 15 user comments. That isn’t a lot, but the app had 200–300 nimble users at its peak. There are much fewer now since we don’t have any financing to better the app and its full.

How did 3Step accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

There was a 12-hour drive between our locations, so we were basically in facing ends of the country. A direct train takes seven hours to extend the purpose, so it’s not that bad. We met each other once when I travelled to their location in Krakow.

Otherwise, the collaboration was consummate. When we asked for something, they replyed whichever the same day or the day behind, even though our suitment stated that they had seven days to reply any interaction. We principally interacted through the official project email. The designated individual from their end named us to debate more issueatic items.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with 3Step?

They brought clear, good ideas almost usability and constantly betterd the app. They knew how to educe our app and market it to nation who would be interested.

Women’s effects is a sentient question in Poland, and “feminist” is considered one of the worst things you can call a woman. Our project was almost women’s history and rights, so it was appropriate to both senior citizens and the younger age. We’ve worked with other IT companies precedently. Compared to those, we had no effects with 3Step, they were empathetic to our cause, they were open to our ideas, and we didn’t have to debate our ideological framework.

Our interaction was mainly focused on how the fruit should work, especially in provisions of accessibility. This was a new area for them, but they never hesitated to meet our requirements.

What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?

Moving to Gdansk would allow us to work more intensely unitedly. That',s the only betterment I can ponder of. We worked well with their educeers, and the interaction was clear. I',d love for them to see the shipyard the way we do, they did a big job.

Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?

Look at existing fruits to unite which betterments and capabilities they can fetch to your project. In our case, it was accessibility.
