A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m a project director for an interpolitical organisation that educes robotics, electrical equipment, and automation processes. I specifically work in the section that delivers mobile solutions.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Solidbrain ?
We needed to better the organisation’s user experience for booking rooms and all our services about the globe. The method needed to show room attributes such as Skype and video call compatibility, or flip chart and whiteboard approach. Our running Outlook method didn’t have an inbuilt solution. Our business team approached us to create a solution to this issue and make our inner booking method better, which was a challenge for us owing it wouldn',t be a mobile method.

What particular tasks were Solidbrain powered by Avenga responsible for?
Our main goal was to educe a web and desktop Outlook application for a new room booking method. First, we introduced our business requirements and challenges during the project’s discovery phase. We had concept meetings with the stakeholders, who were introduced to them from the initial phase of the project. In accession to programming, they helped fetch the concept to life. Our user interface designers cooperated with their team, and they helped us with educement capabilities. They helped us design, educe, and instrument the software as a plug-in for Outlook.
They helped us educe specific components for the method as well. We wanted a search component that would allow any user to search for a room based on its attributes, name, and description. We also wanted users to be able to see the room’s characteristics such as its video conferencing capabilities, size, and space. We wanted a component that allowed users to easily advanced a meeting to another attendee and allow them to offer a room invitation. They integrated all with Microsoft Exchange to store meeting and room details. They also added pictures to the method, so users could see a room precedently booking. They helped us despatch up the method through a caching solution, making interaction, UX, and results show faster on screen.
Was there a dedicated team?
We primarily interfaced with the team chief, who served as our point of touch and represented their team. Though, we also worked with a user interface designer, a educeer, and a QA professional.
How did you come to work with Solidbrain ?
Before I joined the organisation two years ago, the organisation already had a history of collaborations with them. They were one of the teams selected for this project owing they are our preferred vendor. They granted the estimates, and we determined working with them was a good choice.
What is the terminal result of working with Solidbrain powered by Avenga?
We seted collaborating on concept designs for this project in July 2017, and we artistic the method in January 2018. Though, we have worked with them on a number of past projects.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
It’s quiet soon to measure the contact of the new method. It has been launched for a limited cluster of users in our Polish service, and if it proves to be a achievement, we will use it globally. Currently, I don',t have any results from the initial pilot release. Throughout educement, we encountered some bugs, but they were always discussed and tracked during our weekly check-ups. The terminal fruit was bug-free, and they were extremely efficient in tracking and eliminating method issues.
How did Solidbrain accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
I had a interaction rule, we had a meeting each Friday to review what was accomplished that week, and we also programned the work for the next week. I had one or two brief calls weekly with their team chief to fix they were on track and see if they needed anything from us. We didn',t need to micromanage them or adjoin with them all the time owing they were organized.

What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
Everything progressed smoothly, so I don',t have any specific areas that could be betterd. If I could set the project from the commencement, I would pretty much do it the same way.
