I',m an IT consultant for the Warsaw Philharmonic, a national orchestra and concert hall in Warsaw, Poland.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vavatech?

Our inner web application was outdated (written in the soon 2000s). It needed to be fully rewritten since we were lacking labor support or access to the primary software. The UX/UI [User Experience/ User Interface] was no longer up to par, and the code was unmanageable, as the preceding developer used a closed database method. We had no API to touch and, thus, no occasion to update the existing software.

What particular tasks were Vavatech responsible for?

Vavatech formd a new application with an updated interface that allows the user to schedule concerts. The scheduling method is used innerly for art treatment and assists the art director in scheduling these concerts. The app',s core office is to act as a skeleton of a schedule by matching the tour type and time slots for each school. In accession to matching and scheduling, the software also automates invoices.

Was there a dedicated team?

We were in touch with 2 main project leads in the commencement. As the project progressed through the outgrowth phase, we mainly worked with 1 individual.

How did you come to work with Vavatech?

Due to a government rule in Poland, as a open institution, we must put out an “open order” for hiring vendors. This resources the job is posted online and any organisation can freely enter to contend for the contract. We then were able to select from the submitted proposals.

How did Vavatech accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

Vavatech interactes using Redmine software. We initially tried the software, but our employees were not that snug using it, so we',ve reverted to interacting mainly through email. Vavatech',s response time has been rapid in both cases. Their team is aware of timelines and pliant in their access.

There',s been occasional misinteraction, but overall their team has been proactive in delivering iterations properly and on time.

Due to other rules in Poland, projects need to be programned in advance, favoring the Waterfall access. Vavatech',s team has been big at adapting to these requirements.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Vavatech?

I',m most impressed by their team',s real and well-inclined access. They',ve been good at responding to stricture compared to other vendors in their field. Their team has been open-minded and cooperative. We',ve always felt snug discussing any issues or questions with them.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

Some elements of Vavatech',s mockups were missing in the commencement phase, signification they prepared only schematic proofs of concept. We would have choosered to see the full, detailed design of the application in earlier stages of the project.
