On the CISSP front, Mike is the author of the Official CISSP Study Guide (ISC) 2, CISSP Official Practice Tests (ISC) 2, and the LinkedIn CISSP video training series. In the Security + space, Mike has developed a series of LinkedIn Learning Security + training courses. Mike is also the author of the CySA + Study Guide by Sybex and the author of CySA + Practice Tests and the CySA + LinkedIn video training series.

Mike has 20 years of experience as an educator, author and practical practitioner in the field of cybersecurity in the public and private sectors. He started his career as an information security research scientist at the US National Security Agency.

Mike then entered private industry as Chief Information Officer at the Brand Institute. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in cybersecurity and business analytics.
