We needed an offshore team to handle the Magento platform we use for e-commerce.

Our platform uses an older rendering of Magento, which Ascendro have assisted in migrating to an enterprise rendering. They also helped us clean up the code for it, have developed additional functionality and worked on its design. Ascendro have also worked on our website',s SEO and interface design.
Since we began working with Ascendro, we',ve begun selling through Amazon. Ascendro helped us set up the process, making it fully automated. They',ve developed the true construction for working with Amazon, which has been extremely helpful.
We have an in-house reporting method which they',ve integrated into our Magento method.
Based on our needs, our team consisted of between two to six developers. We also had a UI designer, an SEO/SEM individual, plus support and QA staff assigned to us. For UI and SEO/SEM work, we interacted straightly with the professionals. The other work was handled through a project handler, excepting true tasks where there had to be direct interaction.

They were recommended by a reciprocal knowledge. I felt that they were the right organisation to take our organisation to the next level.

Overall, they did a big job. It',s hard to quantify results since our work is ongoing and has implicated many different projects.
How did Ascendro accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
They did a big job, and their English experiences are very good. They have a highest in Canada who liaised with us, while their main team is based in Romania.
We interacted through Basecamp for project handlement. We also used Redmine for effect tracking on smaller projects. Our work process was very good from this perspective.
What distinguishes Ascendro from other preparers?
Compared to our antecedent vendor, Ascendro is very methodic, very attentive and very reliable. following a measure outgrowth process. It',s not an Agile process per se, although it does implicate parts of that methodology. Overall, they have their own process in locate, which is much less ad-hoc than what we were used to.
Is there anything Ascendro could have improved or done differently?
We',ve never had any effects with them.
