Some details
The researchers from the University of Queensland and the Google Cloud Platform developers have teamed up with the APP Solutions developers to provide medical doctors with a tool to help patients before they suffer from septic shock.
We are developing the project for streaming processing of DNA sequencing data collected from Oxford Nanopore Technologies MiniON sequencers.
The project idea is to analyze pathogens
which are affecting hospital patients with a sepsis condition. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition and without proper treatment, a patient can die in 24-48 hours.Software should detect pathogens kinds and also their antibiotic-resistant genes. This information will help doctors to select the best medications for treatment.
