The website represents a company specialized in research, preservation, and trade of antique arms and armor.
The platform allows to look through a lot of ancient weaponry and to choose items to purchase.
Drupal 8 was chosen because the main client’s requirements – item content page is easily implementable with paragraphs.
The main objectives were to:
- create a flexible mechanism for content
In the outcome:
- content managing has been implemented with paragraphs,
- Bootstrap-based subtheme was created. New responsive layouts using Bootstrap were implemented,
- search mechanism has been implemented with Drupal views with minor programmatically adjustments,
- “similar items” blocks have been implemented with a custom block where programmatically different views are executed until the block is filled
