Client',s Goals
Belgium is a small European country with a population of 11,3 million people. Unfortunately, there are not enough software engineers to cover the needs of the whole country. Thus, a Belgian
logistics company, which was working on real-time cargo tracking and reporting systems, faced a problem. They needed to find an experienced back-end developer with strong .NET, JS, HTML, and CSS skills within a short period.Business Challenge
Not only did the CTO participate in hiring, but also the team lead had to take part in the process. Together they interviewed three candidates, but their salary expectations exceeded the company’s budget. Since Belgium lacks in engineers, they decided to look for a nearshore or offshore vendor who could overcome their pain point.
Solution
The company shortlisted a few European vendors, including Qubit Labs.
Recruiters got a task to hire a middle back-end developer with ASP.NET Core, Web API, MS SQL skills. Qubit Labs screened 104 engineers, and 3 of them were selected for an interview with the Belgian company. Eventually, a candidate with four years of experience was approved.
Result
As a result, the company extended its team with a back-end engineer just in two weeks. Due to such a fast hiring process, the client got a chance to start their project without delay. What is more, they managed to cut their operational expenditures.
