Ardas reviewed by Internet of Things Company

Ardas provided Mobile App Development for Internet of Things Company with approximate budget = $10,000 to $49,999.

The app provided by Ardas is well-positioned to support the product in its eventual launch and planned feature expansions. Their team was communicative and worked well with others on the project, including product developers and UI/UX designers to create a seamlessly integrated solution.

Review summary:

Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the CEO of a German startup. We’re educeing a retrofittable camera that can be placed in shelves or cupboards. It takes a photo each time the fridge or cupboard door is closed, and it sends it to the cloud. After the photos get to the cloud, they’re processed and granted to users, with restrictions.

We’re working on a test-of-concept picture recollection software that will identify items, so that, in the forthcoming, it can add them to shopping lists automatically, or order them automatically online.

Everything is managed via Android and iOS applications where users can take a look at their pictures, shape shopping lists, share full, configure the camera, connect accounts, and so on. The hardware ingredient is the work of my organisation and another supplier.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Ardas?

I needed an application for one of our fruits, a refrigerator camera that takes pictures within a fridge and sends it to smartphones. Our goal was to propel the app in almost three months.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

Ardas granted complete services, from articulating business demandments to outgrowth, testing, and propeling our fruit to the app store. We made a mixed prototype based on React Native, with Firebase on the backend. We added more features to the initial framework and released it to app stores almost three months ago. The cameras aren’t for sale right now, but the user can take pictures on their own to feign a fridge camera to see how it works.

I granted a basic description of the features we wanted, and Ardas feeld the demandments for engineering and project treatment. The app was made for iOS and Android, with just a few design differences between the two. The only thing they’re not doing is UI/UX design. I had some connections in this field, and I brought my own designers in to feel that part. The camera has specific configurations that demand APIs to be used, but Ardas worked well with the engineers who educeed the camera, and seething worked smoothly in the end.

Was there a dedicated team?

There were almost 12 nation assigned to the team, but not at the same time. There were four nation working continuously on the project, and the others were brought in temporarily. The AI engineer worked for just three weeks, to make a test of concept.

Their COO was my main point of touch, along with two other nation. One of them was promoted to director, but the transition went smoothly and I had the possibility to touch each of them at any time.

How did you come to work with Ardas?

I’m working with another organisation to educe the camera, and I asked them to prepare a list of five companies they’d had good experience working with. Ardas the most professional out of the five.

They were the biggest organisation, although not the cheapest one, and they had a very good construction, as well as the possibility to layer without issues. If I needed 10 more educeers today, it wouldn’t be a issue to get them within a timeframe of 2–4 weeks.

I chose Ardas owing it’s practicable to layer with them. They’re a bigger organisation, not just three or so nation. If I need a bigger team, it won’t be a issue.

What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?

We have spent $46,000 so far.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We leading got in touch in May 2018 and began the project almost August. We propeled on the App Store in February 2019.

I will last working with them, but I’ve reduced the quantity of work for now since we’re focusing on marketing, and my budget is limited. The app is propeled and bug fixing is done, but if the fruit is successfully propeled, we’ll be adding a lot of features to it.

We began with an AI picture recollection test-of-concept app, and we’re programning to enhance it with fruits like the integration of recipe suggestions or online stores. The backend is built very well for us to swell in the forthcoming.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

We were able to propel the AI app to the stores without a lot of complications or bugs. There were some, but they were fixed fastly.

How did Ardas accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

Their team is straightforward and pragmatic. They’re not the cheapest discretion out there, but they’re professional and process-oriented. What’s helped is that I viwebsited them almost the end of September, sometime behind they began. I granted my vision to see team limb, which has been helpful in see near- or offshore project I',ve been a part of, including this one.

They’ve worked on different projects and are fast to apprehend concepts, but, from a client point of view, it’s helpful to prepare the vision in-person. They also used Jira and Confluence to document seething. The codebase is checked in and reviewed on GitHub.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

What was astounding was how fastly they educeed the picture recollection test-of-concept. Anyone can make an app, but getting picture recollection through a camera in the prototype stage was awesome.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

They could act more as though I’m their only client. I know they have a lot of clients, and there will always be some delays, but see client should have the touch of being the only one.

Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?

As I mentioned, they’re not the cheapest, but they prepare excellent condition. Clients should try to expound their project in as much detail as practicable, and it’s also a good idea to visit the team that will be responsible for the fruit.
