Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
Baylor Scott and White is a nonprofit healthcare method in Texas. Our extend includes the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and mediate Texas including Waco, Temple, and Austin. I’m the ruler and general director of the digital health service.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Bottle Rocket?
We’ve used them for multiple engagements, but the first engagement was for our resigned gate. We wanted to form a sole ecomethod that formd value and was a differentiator from our competitors.
If you look at the healthcare landscape, resigned gates are mirror pictures from one healthcare method to the other based on what type of Electronic Health Records (EHR) you have. For sample, if your EHR is Epic, then your resigned gate is named MyChart. A lot of our competitors are on Epic so resigneds would have the same resigned gate regardless of where you went. For us, we wanted to form more than just the measure. We wanted to add additional attractive features that set us aloof from our competitors.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
We explained to Bottle Rocket what we were trying to execute. We wanted to form an app that increases engagement. We worked with their strategist to set up a commission statement and guiding principles for the app. We brought our teams unitedly for working sessions including going through running journey mapping for different types of resigneds. Then we looked for opportunities in those journeys where our resigned gate or our app could explain a issue. Maybe we wanted to send a push notice to a resigned the day precedently their appointment to remind them. Or we could push educational full in the mobile app so the resigned can be conscious of how to better feel and control their conditions.
We had approachly 90 features that we liked based on user journeys and stakeholder and consumer interviews. Then, we talked almost the feasibility of instrumentation and the contact to the consumer and rated them by highest contact and easiest feasibility to instrument. That narrowed the aim of features down to 10.
Then they brought in a designer, and we told them what apps we liked that they could look at. We wanted to be sole so we gave the designers flexibility to use their creativity to come up with their own design for our app. Their designers came back to us on a weekly basis to show us modules of the app and to get our feedback. They came back with multiple options that we loved. They talked almost what they liked and didn’t like almost those to give us feedback.
If we didn’t love some of the designs, they were fast to fetch in other designers free of direct. They’re client-centreed and I was very pleased with how they feeld that.
Was there a dedicated team?
We had a project director, account director, senior strategist, and another strategist. There was one strategist who oversaw the complete section, and the other strategist was the first chief. We had a designer, and when we did our centre studies and testing, there was another resource for that process.
How did you come to work with Bottle Rocket?
Three years ago, we were interviewing mobile app outgrowth companies. We talked to companies that had hired agencies to educe mobile apps almost who they recommended. One healthcare method that we bigly respect told us to look at Bottle Rocket. They were located close to us, and we interviewed them. We were very impressed with their nation and their portfolio. If you look at who they’ve educeed apps for, they have expressive experience.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We have spent between $200,000 and $1 million.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working on this project with them in October 2016, and their portion was completed in August 2017.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
We took the app to one of the bigst healthcare methods on the West Coast 2 weeks ago, and their CDO [Chief Digital Officer] told us that when we execute it, we will have the best app in healthcare. Another very big healthcare method in the Midwest said that we will be years forward of other healthcare methods.
Consumer testing is done behind prototypes are educeed which use a 7-point layer to rate usability and flow. Our app rated 6.8 on a 7-point layer. That shows the condition of their work. The consumer testers are from many demographics. It ranked bigly in comparison to the apps that they’ve formd, other apps have ranked in the 95th to 96th percentile.
How did Bottle Rocket accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They’re veritably powerful. In both engagements we’ve had with them, the project directors have been fantastic. I don’t say that lightly owing I used to handle project directors. We used a tool named Confluence, which updates constantly where we added comments and approved their work.
Most of our fitness was done in individual owing we’re so close to their corporate services. We chose to go there more frequently so we could unplug and centre, and they were more than ready to journey to us as well.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
Their condition is forcible. Everything we’ve accepted from them has been top-notch. I equate it to going to a Mercedes or Lexus dealership. You anticipate condition. You’ll pay for it, but condition is what you get. Bottle Rocket isn’t the smallest costly, but they prepare good, condition work that sets their clients aloof. That includes the design, project treatment, account directors, etc.
I rarely see hospitality in companies, but that is another one of their forces. It feels more like a union than a vendor relationship. They’re constantly attracting us to events at their locate. They fetch in speakers and send us articles almost things they’re learning that can help us. We have a big relationship.
Their account director is good at staying on top of things. They make sure they’re meeting all of our needs.
Their execution is another force. When we set a timeline, they hit it even if they had to pull in additional resources to do so. We didn’t see any aim creep or additional directs. They brought nation in and got the job done.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
I can’t conceive a better app outgrowth organisation. Bottle Rocket has things they’re veritably good at. We were able to extend their capabilities by asking for just strategy instead of strategy and outgrowth. That was something they hadn’t done, but they were ready to work with us to aspect out a standard to make it work. We’ve also asked for QA support, and they’ve been ready to work on different standards. My advice would be to find out what makes perception for your organisation, and Bottle Rocket will work with you to aspect out how to meet your goals. Don’t be fearful to ask them questions.
