Aaron Koerth
Aaron has a B.S. in Engineering Graphics and Design from Western Michigan University with an emphasis on Automotive Engineering. He specializes in automotive part design and also has experience in a variety of industries. Aaron is a sports fan and a real car nut.
Aimee VandenElzen
Since joining DISHER Aimee has discovered a passion for facilitating workshops. Aimee has a BS in Engineering and an MBA with over 25 years of product launch and leadership experience. Shes passionate about communication diversity and inclusion to create workplaces where people thrive and feel connected! Two things that bring her absolute joy… reading a real book printed on paper and cooking up multiple course meals for friends!
Angela Morrill
Angela brings a wealth of business process and program management experience to DISHER customers. She loves helping others solve puzzles to bring about transformational change. Angela received an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan PMP Certification and 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification. Boating biking hiking camping and cheering on her two teenagers bring her great joy.
Anna Briggs
Anna has invested her talents in the wonderful world of human resources since 2009. ’I love being in a role that allows me to talk with people and build relationships every day.’ With a BS degree in Music Business at Huntington University Anna still makes music a big part of her life whether creating her own or enjoying other peoples works. Anna enjoys hiking camping cycling and snowboarding.
Becky Bonnell
Becky has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech along with an MBA from Wayne State University and Program Management Professional certification. She is able to provide great insight into any part of a project from developing a business plan launching a product to completing value analysis of existing products. She loves spending time with her family and is a foodie at heart.
Ben Coopland
Ben is a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with experience in team leadership and master scheduling. He has his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. After completing his degree he spent five years as a college campus minister before making the transition into more technical roles. In his free time Ben enjoys racing cars and go-karts.
Ben Zuiderveen
Ben enjoys taking an active role in DISHERs front-end Discovery team. Hes a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design with a BA in Industrial Design and his hero is Henry Dreyfuss who elevated ID to include human factors ergonomics and usability. Ben enjoys mountain biking in the summer cross country skiing in the winter and woodworking year round. Mike Birbiglia makes him laugh the hardest.
Bob Soeters
Bob Soeters has been influential in cultivating DISHERs high-performance culture and applying what he has learned with countless other organizations. Customers value his insights and expertise with strategy implementation business development mechatronics operational execution finance and leadership development. Brennan Steenhoek
Brennan is excited to apply his engineering knowledge to real engineering solutions for DISHER customers. He recently earned his BS in Engineering with a Mechanical concentration along with a Business minor from Calvin College. Brennan is a music aficionado and is able to play numerous instruments including piano violin bass and guitar. He also enjoys card games strategy games running and peanut butter Captain Crunch.
Brennen Proudfit
Brennen just completed his Freshman year at Kettering University. While young Brennen already has four years of SolidWorks experience under his belt and co-op experience at Ford. Brennen is an off-road enthusiast who loves being on the sand dunes with his friends and family. He enjoys tinkering on cars and trucks and building things with his brother and friends.
Brent Heeres
Brent has 23 years of experience in Product Development and Machine Design. He is a business leader at DISHER and jumps in to guide the Informational Technology needs as well. Connecting a customer to our DISHER team to help solve complex problems is a highlight of his role. Brent and his family enjoy their church family spending time at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and playing Lacrosse.
Brian LaFrence
Brian has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing an MBA from Western Michigan University. As a Team Lead – Product Engineering and Program Management he specializes in bringing products to launch and supporting current production products. He is a big sports fan and is involved with youth sports programs through officiating.
Brian Lauer
Brian brings over 20 years of manufacturing product and quality engineering experience across a variety of industries. At DISHER Brian enjoys the variety of opportunities to serve customers and community. Outside of DISHER he enjoys family home improvement projects and occasional trout fishing. Brian has a BS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University).
Brian Sommer
With a BS in Engineering Design and Minor in Automotive Systems from Western Michigan University Brian enjoys engineering product development solutions. ’Taking an idea from a thought to a physical object is what I enjoy most.’ Brians hero is Neil deGrasse Tyson with his magical power to make us think more broadly about our world and universe. Brian enjoys biking boating snowboarding web design drawing producing electronic music amp; more.
Casandra Bouwhuis
Casandra has a B.S. in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from GVSU. She has had a variety of experiences including automotive quality APQP documentation process improvement and product launch and change coordination. Casandra enjoys getting involved in stewardship activities spending time with her family and woodworking.
Casey McKellar
Casey is passionate about concept development prototyping and blending innovative ideas with technology to deliver great results. He has a BS in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University. Casey loves spending time camping fishing and exploring trails at his cabin in the Manistee National Forest.
Charles Crouch
Charles has a B.S. in Engineering Design and experience in new product development. He specializes in mechanism design CAE and complex CAD modeling with Pro Engineer and excels at solving engineering problems in a team atmosphere. He enjoys sports cars and the outdoors.
Cheri Wolters
Cheri has over 30 years of experience as an Office Administrator. She enjoys supporting the DISHER team by overseeing payroll benefits month-end reporting and company-wide offsites. She enjoys reading and spending time with family.
Chris McKitrick
Chris has a B.S. in Product Design and Development from Eastern Michigan University and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Engineering Management there. He has extensive knowledge in CATIA V5 automotive exterior amp; interiors plastics part design and design feasibility progression. Chris has global experience leading design projects in places like China Germany Japan and a handful of others enjoying traveling and visiting new places.
Christian Mandrell
With a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University its no wonder Christian has enjoyed astronomy since childhood and would one day like to live on a Mars colony. Christian also enjoys backpacking woodworking rock climbing and anything that flies.
Christopher Slamp
Christopher brings an array of fresh skills to Disher as a recent graduate from Michigan State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Christopher enjoys traveling and high-adventure sports like climbing mountain biking and kayaking. If he could live anywhere Christopher would choose a custom-outfitted school bus where home is where he parked it.
Chuck Beasley
Chuck has a diverse background across many industries and brings those 30 years of design quality and manufacturing experience to life in a positive and creative manner. He enjoys his community service and mission trips each year as a part of his way of giving back to the world.
Collin Riemersma
Collin is a recent graduate of Ferris State University who majored in Mechanical Engineering Technology. His previous work history in industrial automation combined with his hard-working attitude has allowed him to learn a variety of different skill sets. Most of his work has taken place on the shop floor where he has had hands-on experience with machine building. These previous positions have not only enhanced his technical skills but have also proven his design and problem-solving capabilities.
Conlin Britton
Conlin has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University. He has 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering in which he has been able to improve processes in getting quality parts out the door in a systematic fashion. He loves the outdoors and sports and is looking to serve God in all that he does.
Costa Fanourakis
Costa has close to a decade of experience in engineering as a technician with laboratory instruments and in manufacturing with data analysis signal processing process improvement and inventory management. Costa received his BS in physics and a minor in math from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also hopes to one day finish his MS degree. In addition to electronics Costa enjoys the outdoors gardening tennis piano and his young family. Costa grew up in Greece where he spent his summers spear-gun fishing and octopus hunting.
Dan Parker
Dan is experienced in multiple facets of product development including aesthetic design concept development modeling prototyping testing and FEA. Hes trained in user-centered design design thinking and design for manufacturing/assembly. He has a BS in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University.
Dave Harkey
Daves worked on a variety of software development projects for commercial aerospace embedded mobile automotive and IoT. ’Coding is like art. You can create whatever you can dream up!’ Dave enjoys spending time with his wife browsing at Barnes amp; Nobles and cooking new dishes. He has a BSE from Grand Valley State University in Computer Engineering an MDiv from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a BA from Moody Bible Institute.
Dave Hooker
Dave has a B.S. in Production Management from Ferris State University with over 27 years of industry experience. He provides teams with the leadership needed to meet their project goals. He enjoys water skiing during the summer months and building model kits during the winter.
David Hondorp
David has a BBA in Human Resources Management from GVSU. As a Talent Engineer he brings his natural focus on building meaningful relationships to connect great people and great companies. He enjoys helping people find what theyre best at and helping firms discover what and who they need most. David also loves to travel to go skiing and hiking whenever he can.
Dayna Beal
Dayna is a strategic growth guy with a BA from Hope and an MBA in corporate strategy from Northwestern. He is a Simon Sinek Jim Collins Patrick Lencioni and Bill Hybels fan. Dayna helps organizations with vision mapping branding developing their people and more. He is a soccer coach youth group leader and an energetic family man.
Dennis Smith
Dennis has over 10 years of experience as a product and manufacturing engineer in the furniture and automotive industry. His passion for lean product development has helped customers launch and support dozens of new products.
Foster Hovey
’I love the fact that I get to do my hobbies for a living. It doesnt matter what Im doing… as long as its engineering!’ Foster graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. In his spare time Foster enjoys tinkering making things… and getting grease and sawdust everywhere! If Foster had the chance he would live in the Canadian Rocky Mountains as their size and beauty puts things into perspective.
Foster Webb
Foster has his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trine University and six years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry. He recently relocated to West Michigan from Indiana. Foster loves reruns of The Office working on house projects and playing volleyball and soccer. He played soccer throughout college and looks forward to joining a recreational league.
Frank Groen
Frank graduated from Hope College with a BA in Communications. Hes a part of the Talent Solutions team and enjoys helping customers and candidates achieve their long-terms goals. In 2016 Frank earned his Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) from AIRS Training Academy. When he isnt working Franks favorite activities include golfing kayaking and volunteering his time to the Hudsonville High School Varsity Basketball team.
Gabe Boss
Hope Wadle
Hope has her Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Iowa State University and 8 years of experience in digital marketing and design. Hope recently relocated from Pella Iowa and is excited to be living in beautiful West Michigan. As a music junky Hope has been to over 250 concerts in the last five years. A college athlete and all-around competitor she enjoys everything from yard games to sport leagues. Ask her what the last live show she saw was!
Hunter Kostal
Hunter has his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and has worked in automotive and product design companies in a variety of roles. Hunter loves the outdoors including camping mountain biking rock climbing hunting and fishing. He also has four scuba certifications.
James Szymanowski
James has a BS in Plastics Engineering from Penn State Erie with over 13 years of experience. He is a certified CATIA V5 Part amp; Surface Design Specialist is proficient in NX and has a wide range of automotive component diversity with OEMs. James is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and has completed the SAE Product Engineering Tools amp; Methods Certificate Program. In his free time James enjoys traveling camping playing in an 8-ball pool league and volunteering with local organizations.
Jamie Schippa
Jamie brings significant knowledge to DISHERs Finance and Operations team with experience in finance corporate safety daily operational rhythms and accounts payable. Jamie loves to work and is a team player but shes also competitive. Jamie and her family love to be active and you can often find them playing coaching or watching sports.
Jason Noteboom
Jason loves solving problems and coming up with new ideas. He brings a variety of experience in machine design and product development. Jason is a certified SolidWorks expert and a certified DriveWorks professional. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family DIY projects and exploring new places. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin College.
Jeff Disher
Jeff is the Founder and President of DISHER. He brings close to three decades of new product development knowledge with experience in program management product design manufacturing quality training and development. He received a BS from Hope College and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Jeff is a certified Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan. He and his family enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.
Jenny Munn
Jennys sweet spot is finding and developing people. She has been in the industry for twenty years with the last five years focused on recruiting top talent. Jenny is a graduate of the University of Michigan. In her free time she enjoys exploring farmers markets with her husband and daughter traveling and playing with her two dogs. She loves to visit new cities to experience their local food and culture.
Joe Brandonisio
Joe brings strong manufacturing experience to the DISHER team. For the last seven years he has worked in project management production engineering and plant-site supervision roles. Joe received his Bachelors Degree in Biochemical Engineering from Hope College. His favorite sport is water polo which he played in high school. Joe enjoys music. You can find him playing in the Holland Street Performer Series during the summer or in his worship band at church.
Joe Brophy
Joe brings close to three decades worth of product design skills to the DISHER team. He earned his BSME from Michigan State University and since then has dedicated his career to developing various consumer products. When he isnt focusing on CAD Joe spends his time traveling the world alongside his family eating obscene amounts of nachos and playing on a coed soccer team with his wife.
Joel Rottman
For the past 20 years Joel has actively applied his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in a variety of roles. His expertise includes machine and controls design and development customer service and quoting. Joel and his family enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people. Golf is his favorite pastime and reading insightful books that are full of adventure.
Jon Brock
Jon has a BS in Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis from Calvin College. He holds certifications as both a Certified SolidWorks Professional and also a Certified DriveWorks Professional. Jon enjoys mountain biking as well as golfing and also volunteers at the First Tee of West Michigan.
Joshua Manninen
Joshua is motivated by engaging diverse challenges and helping people solve problems. After six years as a mechanical engineer in the trucking industry Joshua is applying his skills at DISHER. Joshua received a BS in Mechanical Engineering – Engineering Mechanics from Michigan Technological University with a Minor in Product Design. He is also a Professional Engineer for the state of Michigan. Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and three young sons. He also appreciates cars music sports travel and food!
Karl Kaluzny
Karl has his Bachelors Degree from Grand Valley and his Masters in Computing from Marquette University. His experience has been primarily in embedded software development for avionics. He is married has two kids and enjoys sports hunting fishing and doing home improvements. If he could live anywhere it would be in a luxury cabin on a lake in the mountains.
Kelli Hills
Kelli is part of our Business Operations team and handles customer invoicing. She has over 13 years of accounting and office management experience. Kelli loves spending time with her husband and five children and attending many of their activities. She also enjoys church involvement being outdoors and boating… and loves to laugh! Kelli received her BA in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.
Keri McCarthy
Keri is an expert in staffing management with over 21 years of experience in talent attraction retention branding implementation problem solving and reorganization. Keri has worked in a variety of industries assisting companies in acquiring top talent as well as developing a solid culture and infrastructure. She is also the instigator of DISHER nerf wars!
Kevin Pinner
Kevin enjoys improving processes – manufacturing or business processes. When he isnt doing that he enjoys playing soccer running mountain biking and driving old sports cars. Kevin has a BS in Industrial Management and MBA in Finance. Kevin leads the Disher Manufacturing Tech Services and DISHER Business Solutions Teams.
Kim Blackburn
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant with a Masters in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. She brings both public and private accounting experience to DISHER as the Finance Leader. Kim is responsible for DISHERs Business Operations team and finance functions. She spends her spare time volunteering traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kristen Reenders
Kristens project management experience in marketing and logistics combined with her degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University has been advantageous to our Operations team. In her free time Kristen loves to travel watch football and play volleyball and tennis. Her proudest accomplishment was being invited to compete in the USA Olympic Womens volleyball tryouts.
Kyle McLellan
Kyle likes to design complex systems at the intersection where hardware firmware mechanics and optics meet. Kyle has a BS in EE from Hope College certifications in Altium Designer and LabVIEW and is a certified Functional Safety Automotive Engineer. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog and volunteering with youth robotics programs.
Laura Anthony
Laura brings over 20 years of creative marketing experience as a business owner and employee. She has a BA in Business – Marketing/Management from Cedarville University and an MBA from Western Michigan University. She is passionate about developing useful communication tools that help others to succeed. Time with family/friends long walks art sports and summer are a few of her favorite things.
Lynn VanSickle
Lynn enjoys coaching his team and brings over 20 years of experience in account management product development and quality engineering. He serves customers in a variety of industries: aerospace automotive RV food processing agri-business consumer products and more. Lynn has a BS from Central Michigan University and an MS from Western Michigan University.
Maddie Swets
Maddie is a Calvin College alumni with a BS in Mechanical Engineering who has a knack for problem solving and passion for tackling complex engineering challenges. In her free time she enjoys painting creating pottery and visiting her family in Minnesota. Maddie loves trying new things through intramural sports food and traveling.’
Mark Ekdom
Mark brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience in engineering operations machinery automation quality and project management within multiple industries. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. During his downtime Mark loves sports (Go Blue!) and home remodeling.
Matt Engle
Matt has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lake Superior State University. He is an ISO certified Category III Vibration Analyst and Certified Solidworks Professional.
Matt Steenwyk
Matt has been working in Product Development for 14 years primarily in the material handling industry. His experience spans concepting design and sourcing through to production and product launch.
Mike Morrell
Mike brings close to 25 years of electrical engineering and software development experience to DISHER customers. He received an undergraduate BSEE degree from Kettering University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University. A few of Mikes favorite things include: the Lord of the Rings book series recreational golf and Jack Kilby – the inventor of the integrated circuit.
Mike Zwiers
Mike has a B.S. in Product Design amp; Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University with over 16 years of industry experience. He has developed many products across a wide array of industries from Automotive to consumer product to furniture to lighting development and more. He enjoys working on cars kiteboarding and solving problems.
Nate Vlietstra
Nate has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Grand Valley State University. He provides capability and experience in product design CAD design quality and regulatory engineering and biomechanics and data analysis.
Nate Woznick
Nate is all about creating more efficiencies and improving systems to better the world around us. He recently graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Nate enjoys spending time with his new bride friends and family. If hes not playing basketball golfing or travelling— Nate can be found reading a great book with a good cup of coffee.
Nathan Cummings
’I believe you reap what you sow; therefore I work hard to get the most out of every opportunity given’ comments Nathan. Nathan enjoys life and lives it with purpose in Christ. His hobbies include mission trips recreational vehicles sports and spending time with family. Nathans alma matter is Ferris State where he received an Automotive Engineering Technology degree. On Karaoke night Nathan would sing with Long Black Train by Josh Turner.
Nick Tonar
Nick comes to DISHER with design engineering experience that dates back to 2005. Hes done everything from designing part assemblies to supervising the parts successfully through the manufacturing process. Nick attended Ferris State University where he received his BS degree in Product Design Engineering Technology and an Associate in Applied Science – CAD Drafting and Tool Design. Nick enjoys boating woodworking and automobiles. His favorite sport to watch and play is football.
Olek Berezecky
Olek has his Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering from Grand Valley and two years of experience working in the HVAC industry modifying existing factory units. In his free time Olek enjoys playing electronic music utilizing synthesizers sequencers and samplers. He also enjoys spending time rock climbing backpacking and exploring. His proudest accomplishment was thru-hiking all 500 miles of the Colorado Trails in 6 weeks.
Patrick Grossman
Patrick graduated from Michigan Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has nearly 20 years of experience with mechanical design and FEA. He has developed and analyzed products in a variety of industries but specializes in welded structures metal fatigue and injection-molded components and assemblies. Patrick enjoys restoring vintage cars tinkering with audio equipment and time with family.
Paul Moeggenborg
Paul is a graduate of Michigan Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He brings manufacturing and problem solving experience to the DISHER engineering team. Paul enjoys being active outdoors by mountain biking running with his dogs and playing a variety of sports.
Phil Dirkse
Phil is a graduate of Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Phil has several patents under his belt relating to renewable energy and hes written STEM curriculum for Michigan school districts using community projects as authentic learning opportunities. Phil is an avid sailor who races locally on Lake Michigan and holds a 50-ton Masters License with the USCG.
Richard Campbell
Richard is a Product Development Engineer with 17+ years expertise completing comprehensive projects to meet and exceed cost and quality objectives while adhering to timelines and cost control. As a team lead Richard trains and mentors teams to top performance. He is adept with CAD tools and plastic molds die-castings electronic components and metal stampings as well as electro-mechanical products.
Robbie Schreur
Robbie Schreur is a Mechanical Design Engineer with his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University. He enjoys hiking playing and watching sports. Basketball is his favorite sport. If he could live anywhere hed live in West Michigan in summer and Florida in the winter.
Robbie Sullivan
Robbie has a B.S. in Product Design amp; Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University. Primarily working as a Project Engineer Robbie has a background using internal engineering systems and tools to complete projects while coordinating with suppliers and customers.
Ryan Bozio
Ryan spent 5 years at GE Aviation creating user interfaces for flight management systems. This experience has given Ryan a strong software-engineering foundation to build upon at DISHER. Ryan earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Grand Valley State University. He enjoys bowling disc golf cooking tra
