Georgetown Rail provides innovative tools for railroad inspection and maintenance throughout North America. The rail equipment company reached out to Enola Labs looking to develop a mobile application that provides an optimal tie delivery solution for rail maintenance for their clients.
The hardware integrated application we produced utilized multiple data streams to provide a graphical map overview of tie drop zones,
tie drop amount, as well as accepts operator input for tie drop feedback. The app measures precise location through the combination of GPS signal tracking and distance tracking through additional measurement instruments.Georgetown Rail saw several benefits after the project’s close. Optimization of their tie maintenance activity dramatically reduced overall costs while increasing productivity and efficiency in their critical processes. Our solution provided a state of the art, competitive product in the marketplace while increasing customer value proposition.
