Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
Actually, there are two structures for which I’ve done work with FleetCreature. One is named Buddhist Geeks. That is a media, primarily podcast, structure that also puts on occurrences and hosts a potential training aggregation. The running structure that I’m running is named Meditate.IO, and it’s correspondent. It’s an educational training platform, primarily potential. We propose training on how to support nation in learning how to train their minds in the digital age. In that structure I was the co-fobelow and ruler.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with FleetCreature?
The leading project we did with them was when I was with Buddhist Geeks, and it was for a project named the Buddhist Geeks Dojo. With that project we were looking at how to sum a smoother and more polished user experience into our potential training aggregation. Our goal was to augment and modify the platforms we were using, which were primarily Google based. FleetCreature worked with us to prove the best ways to accomplish that goal, and they ended up also designing some picturesques in order to execute on that betterd user-experience flow.
Most lately I also worked with Mike Redmer when I was consulting for the new project, Meditate.IO. Mike ended up helping at the soon stages of that project in provisions of identifying and refining our apprehension of our market, as well as our apprehension of what the minimum viable fruit we were launching veritably was. He helped as a consultant on that project, bringing to the project a general business perception that was precious to the startup.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were FleetCreature responsible for?
FleetCreature took a look at our prototype aggregation and the total user experience flow: from the time that someone signed up for the aggregation, to the time they entered into the aggregation, to seeing the occurrences in the aggregation, to joining in on a live occurrence—all of those aspects of what happened within the aggregation space. FleetCreature reviewed all of that and proposeed suggestions on how to better the process. That was one labor—just general design consulting.
FleetCreature also recommended creating some manner picturesques for each of the different shows that we had taking locate within of the aggregation. They then ended up creating separate picturesques that represented the topic or the full of a particular show. They also designed some header picturesques for our occurrence pages in order to particularize specific tiers or kinds of occurrences. Some occurrences were lead by Buddhist Geeks, other occurrences were lead by facilitators (i.e., nation who are training to host occurrences), and then there were simply member-led occurrences. FleetCreature ended up recommending a way of visually differentiating those types of occurrences for the sake of clarity, and then they went on to design that picturesque for us.
How did you come to work with FleetCreature?
I had done some work previously with Mike Redmer. We had done some work unitedly on an app project named Rewire. On that project, I was verity the consultant—specifically, I served as a meditation consultant and, in that space, I had the occasion to remark leadinghand the experiences he was developing in provisions of user interface and design. When we were working on this project unitedly, I recollect pondering he would be a good individual to tap owing he had those experiences. That’s how we came to work unitedly.
How much have you invested with FleetCreature?
Each of the projects on which we’ve occupied with FleetCreature has required an investment of below $10,000.
What is the terminal result of working with FleetCreature?
The Buddhist Geeks project took locate in 2014. And I just artistic up a consulting package with Mike in the last few months for Meditate.io.
Results accomplishd
Could you share any evidence that would prove the fruitivity, condition of work, or the touch of the engagement?
The most late appropriate metric would be that Mike helped us art our minimum viable fruit and ended up turning it into a brief online order. We’ve had 3,000 nation join the order since we launched just a few months ago. That’s been a good metric. It’s been lucky.
How did FleetCreature accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
On the consulting end, obviously, I was intercourse straightly with Mike for all. There wasn’t a total lot of project treatment implicated there. For the other project, however, he acted as the initial touch and helped with the initial design consulting, but then he pulled in his lead Art Design ruler and passed off some of the consulting and design work to him. Mike was implicated at the commencement, as a creative power, and then backed off and handed things off as the project unfolded. That was keen.
What did you find most forcible almost FleetCreature?
The companies that I’ve run are in a sole space, a meditation and mindfulness space. Because of that I would say it’s probably sole for a design agency like FleetCreature to have a deep background and apprehension in that area. I haven’t seen many, if any, that do. This apprehension is primarily owing of Mike’s own background.
The other thing I’d say is that, since I’ve known Mike, he has always been rushing toward what’s emerging—in provisions of the technology and pondering almost what’s coming next. I know there are a lot of folks who do that, but it seems like he wants to be not just at the sharp edge but before the sharp edge, seeing what’s happening precedently it’s here. That’s something that is significant to him. I assume that’s why, as long as I’ve known him, he has—possibly predictably—been on top of edifice apps, focusing on user experience, seeing stop chain technologies coming almost the cavity—the latter of which I know is something he’s focused on now. That’s one way that I ponder he is sole, and it’s a particular part of what makes Mike who he is—and what makes FleetCreature what it is.
Are there any areas FleetCreature could better?
I haven’t veritably worked with Mike’s project team for a while. In the leading project we worked on unitedly, which was right when the organisation was began, there was possibly some lack of clarity almost who was responsible for which aspects of the project. It got clarified pretty fastly, and I ponder they figured out that part of their business. Again, that was a while ago. I conceive some things may have changed since then.
