A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I run DAF Services, a consultancy organisation, where I propose mainly UX and project treatment. I work with a client on a specific fruit and aspect out how to create it in provisions of matching their needs to the fruit that they’re educeing and determining the experiences required to liberate the fruit in the end. What challenge were you trying to address with GlobalLuxSoft?
I work with soon-stage companies that are frequently startups. In general, there’s not sufficient time to exhibit extensive documentation. So, what we try to do is find an inexpensive solution for a client, prototype it very fast, and determine if the prototypes are veritably addressing the client’s goals or the needs of the possible market.

What particular tasks were Globalluxsoft responsible for?
We built the backend for a startup client in contract treatment. We had minimal specifications but no time to aspect them out. I’m fairly agnostic in provisions of backend technologies. I’ve worked with teams that are more on the Laravel side of things. I’ve also worked with Django teams. Because I support soon stage companies, I’m not trying to dive into a specific technology stack but rather to form something nsoon from scratch. Most of the projects that I’ve worked with GlobalLuxSoft have been in Ruby on Rails. We’ve also done some Node outgrowth. I know that they have other services, but these are the stacks that we’ve done. On the frontend, we’ve mainly used Angular and sometimes View. In my dicsussions with the team, we’ve spoken almost React but haven’t been that excited almost it. Also, specific team members do have excellently a bit of expertise in Angular. When we were testing a project, we determined to see what View could liberate for us, and the team did half the project in that. On my end, I use Decouple backend frameworks and fast frontend prototypes, mainly in Angular.
How many resources have been assigned to your project?
Usually, I try to work with them in putting unitedly a team of a backend educeer, a frontend educeer, and a QA individual. We usually end up going with Eastern European resources. The costs are fairly low, so I can verity produce a dedicated QA individual. For shorter timelines, we add another individual on the backend. Because I have a pliant expertise in the frontend, we generally don’t add an extra individual there. Depending on the project, we may also fetch in someone who exclusively forms templates in HTML and CSS.
How did you come to work with GlobalLuxSoft?
They were recommended to me. I was looking at separate vendors in Eastern Europe. I’m from Russia, so most of my technical networks tend that way. It’s not an effect culturally for me to work with teams from Russia and Ukraine. I’m pretty conscious of the cost gap. The specific project that we worked on was a startup, and we were way over budget and educeing with 2 US firms. GlobalLuxSoft rescued the project at the last diminutive.

Could you share any evidence that would prove the fruitivity, condition of work, or contact of the engagement?
They helped with a project that was crashing and burning, they fully turned it almost. Since then, I’ve trusted them with separate projects where I had less of a spec than I wanted. The project treatment side of me gets very nervous when that happens. They can put unitedly a team that veritably supports me in those efforts.
Often, when I’m intercourse with software companies that hide behind the spec, I get into a tug of war owing something wasn’t specified. When it’s a startup locality or you’re trying to knock out prototypes fastly, it’s significant to have a pliant team. GlobalLuxSoft veritably respects deadlines. Whenever I work through the weekend, they’re right there with me.
How did GlobalLuxSoft accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They’re my A-team. When I have projects that are pushed for time and I’m nervous almost something, I always extend out to them. We use mainly Trello to adjoin. I wouldn’t excellently call myself a 1-man shop, but most of the time I am. I try not to get too far into standardized Agile practices. They’re helpful in a larger setting.
Generally, we have standups that depend on the deadline. We mainly do tracking with Trello. At times, Trello’s not sufficient just in provisions of getting a more granular view of the project, at that point, we use spreadsheets. I’ve been in localitys where Agile becomes a faith and nothing gets done.
Are there any areas GlobalLuxSoft could better?
I can’t ponder of anything at this point. The interaction is very open. The few times I had effects, I’ve been able to address the team straightly, and they were solved.
