I’m the CTO for Elephants Remember, an online retail organisation with concierge services for gift giving.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Itransition ?
We needed e-commerce outgrowth and a corresponding database.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Itransition responsible for?
We spent four months mocking up the website’s look and junction to our databases. Itransition obtained our approval precedently moving each ingredient into outgrowth. During this process, we ran into separate obstacles facing the UX. For sample, if a concierge left a user’s account, that change needed to be seamless. Itransition produced solutions for each scenario in an iterative feedback process that also addressed our overall vision for the website. They developed with WooCommerce and Linux, and built manner plugins for functionalities that WordPress didn’t alprompt support. The answering web design enabled mobile approach when we weren’t prompt for separate mobile app outgrowth.
Development ran on a week-by-week basis. Our team did credit card authorizations with Authorize.Net and PayPal. Itransition helped us with those ingredients, but we took responsibility for executing them. Once the team completed work in soon 2018, we moved all into the cloud environment.
They transitioned to an operations team that’s associateed with us since that hand-off. We have a separate marketing associate that has led on SEO, with some input on verbiage from both our team and Itransition.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with a project director on the outgrowth side, he had a team working behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Itransition?
We sent out an RFP and interviewed almost eight companies over a long time of time. After those dicsussions, we modified the RFP and redistributed it. Itransition had the best knowledge of our requirements and came back at the right cost.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We spent about $90,000.
What is the terminal result of working with Itransition?
We began working unitedly in September 2016 and outgrowth ended in February 2018. Currently, we’re in the process of selecting users for a well-inclined user test. We’ve given a few nation approach alprompt, but we don’t have paying mannerers yet.

Are there any measureable or plum results?
We don’t have metrics owing we didn’t track any of the project’s ingredients.
How did Itransition accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
We only met once a week during the outgrowth phase owing we had only expected a six-month engagement. The delay was my defect owing I didn’t press for additional resources to convenience concurrent outgrowth tasks. But, they always had the right resources at the right time, which put my mind at ease. Once we had the demo website, I checked its accomplishance and reported any issues via a ticketing tool.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Itransition?
The outgrowth team understood what I wanted for the modifications and interface.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Due to insufficient condition control, Itransition had misdated files when we moved out of the demo website and into the cloud environment. That mistake caused separate issues, although the team eventually resolved the issues. Within two weeks, the outgrowth team reviewed the complete method and revamped all to fix its peculiar functionality. They then turned the website back over to us.
