What challenge were you trying to address with Kanda Software?
We have a piece of software that we use to support our consulting efforts and license to some of our clients. We needed someone to keep the software running and useable while helping us transition to a present platform.

What particular tasks were Kanda Software responsible for?
The software was built on Silverlight and ran on Microsoft Azure. We initially hired Kanda Software for livelihood. They granted bug fixes and supervised the Azure installation. Then we began to make changes to software based on our experience using it. Kanda Software took over the codebase and began nimble outgrowth. They built new features and cleaned up ones we didn’t need. They also streamlined our capabilities, improved the API and UI, and kept all up and running.
We made a commitment to last supporting the fruit, but we had to move it off of Silverlight owing Silverlight was being retired. We developed an HTML-based present platform alongside our old platform with Kanda Software and some other teams. Kanda Software granted the UI work, creating HTML equivalents to the interfaces in our Silverlight rendering. Kanda Software made it easy, they were alprompt household with the Silverlight rendering, and they handled hand-offs seamlessly so we never had to harass almost them. They also handled crises and bugs as they came up. All the while, the team kept up support for the Silverlight rendering until the new platform was prompt.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with at smallest half a dozen nation. There were congruous project and account treatment contacts, but we also had time-sliced developers who changed over time — as expected. Kanda Software handled all those transitions effortlessly.
How did you come to work with Kanda Software?

Are there any measureable or plum results?
Kanda Software was able to keep the software running successfully without issues even as Silverlight’s support degraded. They issue-solved to fix that our fruit worked on as many browsers as practicable and even created a downloadable rendering that didn’t rely on a browser.
They also were generally answering to emergencies even though we didn’t have 24/7 support in our contract. Kanda Software was pliant on where we applied hours, but whenever we needed them to put in hours without, they did it.
We’re up and running on the non-Silverlight rendering of the platform. Now, we’re moving client accounts from the old platform to the new one. Kanda Software has helped us transition outgrowth to our inner team. They were real team players throughout the total process.
How did Kanda Software accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Kanda Software was all we could have wanted in an offshore firm. They got us up and running on Jira fastly, and we used that to adjoin. Their condition of English and clarity of questions and responses were over mean. We had fewer back-and-forth dicsussions than I’ve had with other vendors. Plus, it was always easy to get a hold of someone and find out what they’re working on.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Kanda Software?
UI design can be a challenge with offshore developers if we’re not specific sufficient in our requirements. I had fewer of those issues with the Kanda Software team.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No, Kanda Software met our expectations, which they set very congruously. They generally granted crisis support even though we didn’t contract them for that labor. Everything was done well, I have no complaints.
Any advice for possible clients?
They’re more closely handled than other offshore outgrowth teams I’ve worked with. They had processes and nation in locate to track bugs and handle the project, we didn’t have to be as occupied on our end. I’d embolden nation to take gain of that.
