Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the CEO and founder of Dysh App, which is a mobile app for food lovers. It allows users to view photos of dishes offered at nearby restaurants and view food condition feedback from other users.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Manhattan Mobile?
There were no restaurant review apps dedicated just to food, so we hired Manhattan Mobile to help us form one.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
They built iOS and Android renderings of the app from scratch. We began out by discussing our concept and then they brought in a UI/UX designer to form a wireframe. We worked on branding and how we wanted the app to flow and once that was prompt, the developers began fleshing out the leading rendering of the app. As outgrowth progressed, we granted feedback and tested each new ingredient as it rolled out.
This app had a number of intricate ingredients, with location-based services as one of the most nice, since we need to identify where users were in reference to food at nearby restaurants. Another key ingredient is the power to sort restaurants by ranking or rating in order to prepare recommendations. The app also requires camera approach for taking and uploading photos and offers a set of manner filters for photo editing. There’s a collective networking ingredient as well, so users can connect to their friends using their touch lists from Facebook, Twitter, or email. Other ingredients include in-app messaging and a “gamification” ingredient where users earn points for accomplishing true tasks with the app.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with six or seven nation, including our project director, a designer, an animator, a UI/UX professional, and the developers.
How did you come to work with Manhattan Mobile?
They were recommended by one of our investors.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent somewhere between $100,000–$250,00 over the order of the project.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working with them in February 2015 and wrapped up in June 2016.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
Our app gained almost 70,000 users who calm data for more than 140,000 dishes at over 77,000 restaurants worldwide. We accepted a expressive quantity of observation based on the condition of our app, including being placed on the front page of Apple’s app search three times and being profiled by separate YouTube personalities, and we were consistently able to oppose periods of intense commerce due to those promotions. We were impressed by how well Manhattan Mobile scaled the app to seamlessly feel different levels of use.
How did Manhattan Mobile accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
I spoke regularly with our project director and with one of the owners, who served as a CTO on our project. We had a two-week sprint cycle where we worked with the project director on developing each app ingredient, but the CTO was always implicated and would let us know if our timeframe needed to be pushed back to convenience all of our business program goals. They also granted us with project treatment tools that let us pursue the progress of the project and test demo renderings of the app as we went along.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They’re creative and passionate almost what they create. They went over and over to hint things we could do to better our app, whether that meant proposing additional ingredients or spending extra time outside of working hours on the outgrowth to fix that all was done right.
