I’m the ruler for Unisys’ weather business unit, a big systems integrator and treatment organisation that serves the federal government and interpolitical commercial clients.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Mindgrub?
We wanted to modernize our website owing the organisation hadn’t updated it, aloof from applying evolving corporate phraseology standards. Our software didn’t advance much over soon 2000s technology, it generated static pictures and satellite poetry loops. Users could view those features, but couldn’t do anything with the weather data. The modernization needed to agree to today’s aesthetic standards while providing users new functionalities for tracking and navigation.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
Mindgrub researched our organisation and users via queries and data gathering, we also held inner enlightenation sessions to unite the website’s purpose. The team then revamped the UX/UI, using the discovery time to enlighten the overhaul. The project is mainly done and we are currently in a livelihood phase with Mindgrub.

The team included a project director, a sales director, and both advanced and junior-level engineers.
How did you come to work with Mindgrub?
We had a government client that wanted our team to modernize the website and reached out to Mindgrub on our side. We compared their proposals to others in a competitive analysis. We determined the team was capable and would prepare the best value.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working in them in November of 2017 and the project artistic in April 2018. We do have some accessional work that we’ll probably give them at a later date.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
We did separate inner reviews to assess the website’s uspower – whether we could handle it in-house. They completed the requested repairs fastly.
How did Mindgrub accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
The team’s accomplishance matched what they proposed. Mindgrub worked in nimble sprints and used Basecamp to upload goods and stay connected. They updated at smallest on a weekly basis.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
Several components of the Drupal CMS were new to us, but Mindgrub had the experiences to prepare on-website training, specifically for webpage administration. In accession, their expertise and power to deploy products rapidly stood out. The team proposed new techniques and innovations for different aspects of outgrowth and handled web services.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
We had trouble with testing owing Mindgrub used screenshots to present the look and feel. Those screenshots weren’t conducive to locating needed changes as we approached the live test website. We hope they’ll set up a different test website for next time. Though, the team was answering and repaired a lot of the bugs we establish. But those fixes would have been resolved earlier with a different testing process in locate.
Any advice for possible clients?
Clients should make sure Mindgrub researches their businesses. They made assumptions, which are sometimes certain to push projects advanced, but in most cases, they could have named or sent an email to clarify answers. That extra QA step would’ve eliminated unfit decisions, even though none of those delayed the timeline or affected results. We got all resolved in the end.
