What challenge were you trying to address with Montrose Software?
We needed to renovate our website’s outdated middleware, migrate to a major cloud services provider, and take up with our clients’ mobile-centric preferences.

What particular tasks were Montrose Software responsible for?
The overarching goal was to educe a mobile-friendly website and migrate the platform to the cloud. Since we were already household with Microsoft technology, we determined to use Microsoft Azure SQL Database. Montrose rewrote the complete backend and converted the Classic ASP website to ASP.NET. They also implemented different JavaScript-based client technology, bridged two websites using mixed solutions, and updated our encryption certificate.

We worked closely with their head of technology and two additional programmers.
How did you come to work with Montrose Software?
We initially reached out to their sister organisation, but they recommended Montrose as a more appropriate fit for our project.

We’ve been working with Montrose since November 2017.

Are there any measureable or plum results?
Our clients are enjoying the mobile-friendly enhancements and other improvements to our website. While Montrose had more experience with Amazon cloud services, they adapted to Microsoft Azure seamlessly.
How did Montrose Software accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
We held daily status meetings via Skype. Jira and GitHub were used effectively to track project issues and dynamically maintain rise code uprightness. When issues occurred, they documented the fault on Jira, and we promptly met to debate the best solutions. Their rare interaction was congruous when interacting with other vendors, so we never had issues getting information from our preceding web host.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Montrose Software?
Mistakes were rare owing they understood our business and actively listened to our needs. If our ideas weren’t consecutive, they came back fastly with intelligent questions in order to arrive at an actionable knowledge. I’ve been in the activity for 50 years, and Montrose met and exceeded all of my expectations. We',re very lucky with their work.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
My only advice is that they keep up the big work owing they’re doing a fantastic job.
