Could you briefly draw your structure?
We',re a nonprofit union based on Portland, Ore. We do both advocacy work and form educational programs to increase the accessibility and safety of bicycling and nimble transportation, in general.

Desired goal
Could you draw the business challenges you were attempting to address when you began the referenceship with Netlandish?
We had an existing website named BikeCommuteChallenge.com that was primarily a trip logging platform. We had an existing website that needed a number of updates in provisions of functionality and design. We wanted stay appropriate. The Web developer we',d been working with antecedently had moved on to another project, he had kind of stopped freelancing, which was the space we had been working with him in. We were looking for a new technology associate that could make our much-needed website updates.

Could you draw the aim of work delivered by Netlandish?
The leading aim we worked with them on was to adduce updates to an existing website and functionality, so some changes to our registration, platform reconfiguration, changes to our developed trip logging, [and] interface for the website. That was the first aim. The second aim of work we had with them was doing an overall audit and update of our existing rise code to fetch it up to running standards. We also have a new aim of work with them. The first piece of this aim is deploying a mobile answering design.
How did you select Netlandish as your solution associate for this endeavor?
We distributed an RFP [request for propose] and interviewed a couple of different firms. They had also come recommended to us by another nonprofit in Seattle named Cascade Bike Club. We were impressed with their antecedent experience and their proved outgrowth and design work. Overall, we got a very good vibe from Netlandish.
Could you prepare a perception of the size of these different initiatives in provisions of their monetary cost?
The first aim of work was somewhere in the $10,000 to $15,000 range, but our running work is ongoing, so the monthly costs vary depending on how much they do for us. It could end up being a few thousand during the order of some of these upgrades.
Results achieved
In provisions of results, could you share any statistics, metrics, or user feedback you ',ve accepted that would prove the effectiveness of what they ',ve done so far?
I can tell you that the website that we use the program for has almost 10,000 users. We',ve surely had a big decrease in user help requests being submitted online, which allows us to centre our time on bigger priorities. We now bestow less time intercourse with the website or making changes based on the work they did. So, they',ve veritably helped us with our process efficiency. And from a business standpoint, our website simply functions better now. It',s a much more enjoyable and intuitive user experience.

The two things that I',d say almost them are their efficiency and their project treatment. Their access to project treatment is unappropriated. From my past experiences working with developers, I felt like they were able to ask very clear and direct questions right from the set, which allowed us to get seted very soon on. They completed all in what seemed like an extremely reasonable time of time. Their interaction has been fictitious throughout, I feel like I know precisely where they are at any given point in time. Their process is extremely pellucid, which is a huge plus from the client perspective.
In review, are there areas you ponder they could better on as a labor preparer?
Based on the aim of work we agreed upon, there',s nothing they could have veritably betterd on for us. I would say that it',d have been nice if they were able to propose us more wide front-end design. They don',t publish themselves as creative designers, so this isn',t a critique in reference to our project. This is a more general statement. Because they propose such extensive technical outgrowth labors, they don',t have the same depth in design. That resources that a client like us is forced to find a separate associate to appoint the visual design and interface work. It',d have been easier on our end if we could',ve had all of the labors proposeed unitedly, making it a more holistic exertion.
