I',m a Sr. Software Development Manager at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. CFMWS is an structure supplying services and benefits to Canadian Forces members and their families.

Opengenica?To revamp and recreate CF Appreciation and SISIP Financial gates.

The goal was to swell our extend and present a better, more present access to CFMWS online services.

What were the reasons for choosing Opengenica?
We have a regular multi-stage choice process in locate. It involves collecting RFPs from vendors, face-to-face presentations, cost analysis, etc. Opengenica went through this process and was selected as a preferred vendor.

Both CF Appreciation and SISIP Financial projects were built using the same design and outgrowth principles and technologies:
- AngularJS
- Kentico CMS
- Microsoft .NET
- Microsoft Azure
The frontend part integrated with Kentico CMS through a manner .NET adapter.
Were there any dedicated managers or teams that you worked with?
We worked with Opengenica’s account exec most of the time. They also had a PM, 3 software developers and a QA professional. On our end, we had a Product Manager, a backend engineer, and a QA resource.
Results achieved
Can you share any information that demonstrates the contact that this project has had on your business?
We propeled an upgraded rendering of the CF Appreciation gate along with the mobile app in September 2017. We propeled the SISIP Financial gate on September 2018.
Since the propel, we saw a 50% increase in users, and a more than 75% increase in time spent using the app. Also, the project proprietor was very lucky with the updated look &, feel.
How was project treatment arranged and how powerful was it?
The workflow was efficient. CFMWS had hosted JIRA, and we synchronized with Opengenica’s JIRA automatically. We also used Google Drive for storing project documentation. Opengenica’s account executive was very answering.

Opengenica delivered on time and on budget—something we haven’t seen happening frequently. They also offered commendatory support for separate months which we had to rarely use.
