Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
Please draw your structure.
I work for a multinational technology confirmation. Popcorn Apps verity did work for Intel Media, which was a set up within of Intel in the media space.
What is your position?
I oversaw all of our method deployments for our full services cluster. Popcorn Apps was brought in to instrument Salesforce for us and for client advocacy, which is what we call client care.
Desired goal
What business challenge were you trying to address with PopcornApps?
Originally there was nothing over Salesforce. That was kind of the leading step, and the method stood up fairly fast. After that, we got a better view of what their technical expertise was, so we verity expanded their role into additional areas.
Provided solution
Please draw the aim of their involvement in biger detail.
I don',t know the total aim but I can tell you that they did business intelligence and analytics work for us. They also did some Hadoop work in the analytics space and some coding about some of our applications which were sitting on our set-top box. So they did excellently a bit of work for us.
It was primarily web applications and mobile application outgrowth. The work for Salesforce was verity some of the better web work they did for us. They verity did the complete website, and all of the client acquisition screens for signing up as a client were all done through Salesforce. They also did mobile application work for us which layered in a couple of different datasets to give a view of the best areas where we could locate antennas on top of createings. They basically did a city map and had overlaid eminent force on top of it so we could go and see where the best locate to have an antenna would be.
How did you come to work with PopcornApps?
We verity ran a request for offer [RFP]. We had a couple of in house vendors that we reviewed as well. So behind running the RFP we verity had 4 or 5 vendors that came in, two of which were inner. Those were already preferred vendors within our corporate network but we chose to go with PopcornApps owing of their power to liberate and the trust that they had to liberate the type of Salesforce applications that we were looking for precedently. So it was veritably their track archives of liberatey that got them in the door.
Could you prepare a perception of the size of this start in financial provisions?
The size of the project was between $10,000 and $50,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
The project began probably towards the end of 2012. The division was sold off from us to Verizon but they were quiet working with the same team at Verizon. They verity survived the sale of the division to Verizon as well, so they',re quiet working on the project.
Results achieved
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
PopcornApps absolutely liberateed on time and on budget. It was never a interest that we had gone over budget or the schedule was delayed. If there were any delays from the project they came from our side in provisions of changes that we are making. The liberatey by PopcornApps was on time. Their power to layer and to liberate within the time frame, given the aim of work that we had given them, was grand. They liberateed see one time for us. They were probably better than our inner teams.
I don',t have any hard metrics. We verity had no clients precedently the division was sold off, so it would be hard to say that there were any business process betterments that we were able to substantiate. The one thing I will say is that we were able to fully automate the complete acquisition process from when a subscriber would come to our website, be interested in signing up, choosing the packages, capturing all of the appropriate client data and driving all of that into Salesforce through a seamless integration with our existing website. All of that was of terrible value for us owing that meant that we didn',t have to have ethnical glue trying to stick all those pieces unitedly. I reflection that was a big cappower they brought on the back end, veritably being able to optimize the client care screens. They also did a big job of monitoring our collective feeds so that we could apprehend how our clients are attractive with our platform. All of that end-to-end client care and acquisition process was a big centre for us. It was something that they fully took on themselves and liberateed.
What distinguishes PopcornApps from other preparers?
There are excellently a few resources that we interacted with, and they all are able to veritably bridge that gap between business process and methods instrumentation. I know that seems like it should be ordinary perception, but a lot of companies do not always have all of the business analyst types of roles that we would like to have, but they brought that cappower as well. They veritably did some process engineering with us. They were able to fully apprehend the business side as well as the technical side. It wasn',t like we had to have 2 or 3 different resources, and we had a big experience with their project managers.
Is there anything PopcornApps could have betterd or done differently?
I ponder they would probably suit with this: they',re not picturesque designers. They are not layout professionals, so if you',re looking for a very specific look and feel of your website, application or method user interface, then you veritably need to have a vision of that to fetch to the table with them. I wouldn’t anticipate any type of integrator or shop like PopcornApps to have it all in-house. I would surely say that',s one thing they could better, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
