James is passionate about helping organizations embrace open source technologies. After many years in hardware and IT finance James co-founded Shadow-Soft in 2008 and manages the strategic direction of the company. James is an Atlanta native and spends his free time outdoors with his family.

Nick is passionate about building great teams to tackle modern business challenges. He oversees Shadow-Softs business operations and the people in the organization. He spent seven years managing technology finance portfolios for Canvas Systems before joining in 2010. Nick enjoys spending time with his family and watching the New England Patriots dominate the NFL.
Ross Beard
Ross is passionate about helping customers innovate with new technologies and processes. He is responsible for Shadow-Softs marketing and alliances focused on developing and executing programs that drive awareness and interest in Shadow-Softs suite of technology solutions. Before Shadow-Soft he spent six years working for fast-growing IT and software companies. Ross enjoys following his favorite sports teams and exploring Atlanta Metros wide range of town centers.
Tim Eck
Tim is passionate about helping customers successfully implement new technologies. He is responsible for providing thought leadership to customers managing Shadow-Softs service delivery and supporting sales. Tim has 25+ years technology experience with a specific focus on development and operations data warehousing data analytics data integration data engineering enterprise architecture and technical leadership. Prior to Shadow-Soft Tim held leadership roles at Genuine Parts Company and Cotiviti. Tim enjoys hiking around Georgia and is currently training to hike a section of the Appalachian Trail.
Derrick Sutherland
Derrick is passionate about helping customers find the solution that works for their unique needs. He enjoys working through customers to address their challenges with technology and process changes. Derrick is responsible for managing consulting engagements providing technical guidance assistance and solution architecture.
Derrick holds a masters degree in cyber security and dual bachelor degree in computer science and security. He has 12 years technology experience specifically focused on software engineering security performance optimization automation cloud computing and information assurance. Derrick enjoys music and the arts. He spends his spare time singing and playing piano and guitar.

John has 25+ years of technology experience with a specific focus on solution architecture and development systems integration micro services and cloud enablement leveraging a variety of technologies. Prior to Shadow-Soft John delivered enterprise solutions to a wide variety of sectors including telecommunications financial manufacturing distribution non-profit and federal and state government. John enjoys RVing kayaking playing guitar and spending time with his wife and three boys.
