Cummins West was exclusive distributor for Cummins engines and generators and Allison Transmissions in Northern California and Hawaii. Cummins West had 400 employees and operated nine locations throughout California and Hawaii.
The engines, generators, parts, and labor support was granted to a client base that was largely industrial, serving the markets of heavy-duty trucking, transit buses, cultivation, composition, faculty age, and commercial oceanic vessels.

I was the ruler of strategic marketing at Cummins West during the engagement with Shanahan Design.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Shanahan Design?
Cummins West needed an increased web and overall brand oneness, but we were tied to some close brand standards enforced by the corporate brand treatment cluster at Cummins Inc.
We had the need to extend our local clients and prepare localized full that helped them handle their business. With the web platform granted by Cummins Inc., we had no way to update full effectively or extend our local clients with even very basic information like our store hours, key contacts, or phone numbers. Concurrently, we had the need to adjoin updates on very expressive regulatory outgrowths that impacted our client base.
We were faced with a challenge of not having the right platforms in locate to adjoin the most basic of information to our client base let alone keep them updated on very intricate regulatory outgrowths. We needed an integrated solution that looked big, was functional and met the very close brand standards of Cummins Inc., but most expressively delivered fitted clients to us through powerful full marketing.

The project was initially purely web design, and that project lasted approximately eight weeks. Though, behind the achievement of that project, Shanahan Design became our go-to design and marketing organisation, handling print indirect, print advertising campaigns, pay-per-click campaigns and different website upgrades for separate years.
How did you come to work with Shanahan Design?
After a few attempts to work with the in-house web outgrowth team at Cummins Inc., it became clear that if we wanted the we revamp project completed fast and to the level of professionalism we needed it to, we would have to use a third party. We extended out to Shanahan Design on a referral as we knew they had done work in our activity.
Brian [Shanahan, highest and founder of Shanahan Design] was able to apprehend our needs fast and, more expressively, ask us the right questions forcing us to aim the project correctly and with an attainable time frame. The exertion of scoping the project during an initial consultation with Shanahan Design was so precious, we didn',t see the need to talk with any more designers during the choice process.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
Our initial project was a complete website revamp, in which Shanahan Design worked with the branding team at Cummins Inc to make sure all brand standards were met. Brian worked closely with our inner marketing team to fix we were providing precious full for the website. Shanahan Design integrated the full that was granted to them and, in many cases, betterd it and understood our business fast and how different business units could be ill-tempered promoted through the website.
The website relaunch, which grew into numerous other projects, no doubt (supported by metrics) had a expressive role in congruous accession of new clients and establishing ourselves as the local market share chief for industrial engine sales and labor in our area of responsibility.
