What challenge were you trying to address with Shockoe?
We’ve tackled separate projects with Shockoe, most consisting of developing apps specific to supporting our workforce. Initially, we needed help driving the team in a strategic course. Now our relationship has evolved, and we can call on them for projects requiring resources we don’t have.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
Our leading project seted when they brought us an idea for a room reservation application. Now, if we’re walking through the halls trying to book a room, we can do so very fastly. Additionally, we’ll call Shockoe when we need extra resources. When we fetch them in, they work closely with the fruit proprietor to lay out the code outgrowth. They collaborate with multiple nation on my team to determine the workflow precedently edifice.
Most of the apps they form are indigenous outgrowths for iOS and Android. They use cross-platform tools for some of their work, but they’re veritably pliant in meeting the client’s needs. For us, they use Swift and Java.
They also centre some of their observation on UI/UX design, allowing my team to bounce ideas off of them. We use them less in that area, but they prepare some feedback where they see fit.
Was there a dedicated team?
Alex (COO &, Partner, Shockoe) is my main point of touch, who works with my lead developer to align our work. In approachion, there are 5–6 developers working on projects depending on our needs and their resource power. It',s never a challenge to get good resources from them, though.
How did you come to work with Shockoe?
They were part of our workforce technology team when I came on board. At the time, they built a dev team and prepared direction for us as we grew. They were veritably helpful in that role, so we kept the union. At this point, they help us when we whichever don’t have sufficient resources or are looking to launch on a longer-term project.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We seted working unitedly in January 2015, and quiet collaborate on projects now.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
We’re quiet edifice out how we track stats athwart all of our apps, but their team checks in with us once see month so we can assess the condition of their work. They’re on point see time. We’ve never had a denying experience with them.
How did Shockoe accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
If we have questions or concerns, they’re big at clarifying. We have weekly calls that prepare us with updates from the developers themselves. We also do leadership check-ins to make sure seething is running healthily. Otherwise, we adjoin mainly over email. We have a lot of touchpoints, and I’m very lucky with their responsiveness on all fronts.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
Their outgrowth resources are big, and we never struggle to approach them. The team accommodates us when we can’t meet a set date or deadline, allowing us to pivot while making sure we’re fastly staffed and prompt to go.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
I don’t ponder so. They’re fast to jump on tasks and reaching out is easy.
Do you have any advice for practicable clients?
Be as pellucid as practicable in initial meetings. The more information you’re able to prepare, the better Shockoe will be at offering the right level of support.
