UNO Branding was founded in 1999 by childhood friends Carolina Ornelas and Luis Fitch who grew up in the border town of Tijuana Mexico (the worlds most visited border) where they thrived in a culturally rich environment extracting and integrating the better of two worlds: Mexico and the U.S. It was only natural that they would one day launch a cross-cultural graphic design agency to help clients target the burgeoning multicultural and latino market.
Prior to UNOs inception Carolina and Luis amassed 10 years of solid work experience as senior staff at some top-notch retail branding agencies around the world where they perfected their craft in areas of strategic branding advertising transcreation promotions product development retail branding communications packaging brand events ¡y mucho mas!
In the years since UNO Branding came to fruition a lot has happened. For starters the demographic landscape has changed dramatically. What was once an acculturation story has now morphed into a culture-sharing narrative. The internet and technology has made us a fast-fusing society eager to learn and share our experiences. Culture food music art language etc. are just a click away. This shift toward a culturally interwoven society positions UNO Branding at the forefront of todays cross-cultural design market.
