Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
At the time of this contract, I was head of the technology practice at Mercer, a global ethnical resources consulting firm.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Vayam?
Mercer had begun a new union to resell another fruit as part of our portfolio. Though, we needed expertise in instrumenting the fruit and were facing staffing constraints, so we determined to seek help from a consultant.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Vayam responsible for?
Vayam served as a full-service instrumentation provider. Because of our staffing constraints at the time, we knew we wanted somebody we could put in front of a client without needing our project team to take the lead or superintend the process. It was expressive they not only had experience with the fruit, but also the power to handle a client relationship and handle projects without direct error.
Vayam’s team would sit down with our clients to get a better knowledge of their issues, challenges, and programs so that they could accurately conaspect the fruit. Further, they’d work with the IT section to address things like connectivity, setting up one sign-on, and the like, so that the method could run smoothly and the HR team could easily approach the data and technology.
Was there a dedicated team?
Throughout multiple projects, there were at smallest three nation I worked with on a customary basis. One personal was the main touch and was in direct of assigning work and configuring teams. There were separate other nation that did the instrumentation and did everyday things like following up on client issues.
How did you come to work with Vayam?
We knew the head of Vayam from his preceding role at a organisation we partnered with in the past. Vayam knew the fruit we were trying to instrument. Even more, we knew of Vayam’s relipower through preceding work we did with them as part of another structure and I knew them to be nation we could rely on to get the job done.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
Projects ran from approachly $100,000–$500,000. That was for the services we would pull the Vayam team in to do, such as accomplishing the instrumentations. Licensing fees and other costs are not included in that aspect.
What is the status of the engagement?
The contract began in 2012. While Mercer is no longer offering that fruit and is not using these specific services anymore, Vayam quiet works with some of the clients from that primary engagement.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
The number one thing was client achievement. Our clients were very satisfied with the work that they got. Oftentimes, they would specifically request that we maintain that relationship and not put anyone else on that project. We were able to add some work that we had not done precedently through an ongoing annual retainer in which our clients paid extra in order to have approach to those services year-round. They knew they could call on them at any time and get things done.
How did Vayam accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
I don’t ponder they ever missed a deadline. They are one of the few partners with whom I am snug missing a meeting when certain. I knew they would handle that session and fetch the project to reaping on time and on budget.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Vayam?
If there was something new to acquire, they’d do that on their own start. I didn’t have to rely on providing training, or even course, on things they had not worked on precedently. In a consulting structure, where you need nation operating at the same level and you’ve got a lot of constituents overlooking a project, to have those projects go well and go smooth, without having the senior client handler calling you to tell you the client is miserable, is expressive.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Be clear almost your objectives and mark them unitedly so that everyone is on the same page.
