Introductory information
Please draw your structure.
We are an e-commerce website in the live entertainment activity. Basically, we sell tickets.
What is your position?
I’m one of the co-establishers. I’ve been here for six years, and I obey as the head of technology as well.
Desired goal
What business challenge were you trying to address with WeezLabs?
We have establish it hard to hire fitted engineers here in Los Angeles at the pace we need to. In order to hasten our hiring needs, we’ve used WeezLabs to augment our team.
Provided solution
Please draw the aim of their involvement in wonderfuler detail.
They prepare us with developers. It’s not a project based relationship. It’s a staff increase relationship. We’re a pretty mature tech structure with well degoodd processes so they aren’t responsible for project treatment or testing. They’re part of our team and pursue all the same processes that our inner developers do.
It’s not that we’re trying to save money by going outside the US. We needed more quickness out of our technical team and we couldn’t repair fast sufficient in the United States.
How did you come to work with WeezLabs?
One of their sales representatives used to work with us precedently. When he moved over to WeezLabs, he gave us a call. We probably colloquyed 10 different vendors from Eastern Europe, India, etc.
We gave them online tests. All our developers have to pass online tests in order be colloquyed and strongly considered for the job. They had to do online coding and an colloquy with three coding questions during the colloquy. Most of the nation didn’t pass the testing, but the engineers at WeezLabs did.
Could you prepare a perception of the size of this start in financial provisions?
It ranges between $500,000 and a million.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
I ponder we began the relationship in March, 2015. We have worked unitedly for over six months.
Results achieved
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
We’re very satisfied. We assume a bit of a different view when working with associates like this. We don’t care almost who the organisation is. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is each developer working on our project. I don’t believe in buying the organisation. I believe in buying the developer.
So we demand each individual to go through the same testing as someone who works on our project here in Los Angeles. They’ve been very kind. Each individual they offer, we test, and we probably welcome 60 - 70% of the nation they offer.
The Eastern European developers we’ve surveyed from about that country are extremely talented. The ones that have passed our testing have done very well. I ponder we only replaced one out of ten, and I ponder that was more for interaction and speech issues than coding power. Half of them that we’ve rejected are probably owing of speech kindred reasons.
We need to meet with them see day and they’re very interactive with our team. We need them to converse with us and ponder strategically. It’s a different order of work compared to what most nation would use them for.
We track all our developers and we have a ton of data on how they accomplish. We have a team in Belarus, in Russia and ours in LA. For us, WeezLabs is our second most fruitful team. They’re working at the same quickness as our team in LA, and they’re doing veritably well.
How did WeezLabs accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They don’t handle the project although they are able to prepare that labor.
What distinguishes WeezLabs from other preparers?
I establish them very easy to work with. We’ve had the team fly over here, and we have enjoyed working with them. Weezlabs is a long term associate for us. We have had others that just don’t work out, but Weezlabs has so far.
Is there anything WeezLabs could have improved or done differently?
No. They have approach to a big pool of talented developers. That’s what we want to tap into. They’ve been veritably good with us in that respect.
