Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I am the CTO of a video yielding startup. We’re in the RegTech activity, developing a platform that helps regulated industries—such as financial services and healthcare—to deploy video in their environments and superintend that video for yielding violations and other regulatory issues.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Bixlabs?

We’re a cluster of accomplished backend developers and were specifically looking for resources to augment our frontend team.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were Bixlabs responsible for?

We have a cloud-based platform. The web is our interface into that complete fruit and we wanted an Angular-based JavaScript frontend, backed by an API running in the cloud. All our services draw intelligence out of video . We chose Bixlabs to help create the frontend for that fruit for our organisation.

The outgrowth is all Angular and TypeScript, and associated technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Was there a dedicated team?

They assigned two engineers for the project.

How did you come to work with Bixlabs?

In my antecedent startup, we had worked with a team in South America where you can find nation who are very skilled and converse English at a fraction of the cost of a Bay Area developer. In the Bay Area, developers are costly and the fidelity level is extremely low. Developers are encouraged to jump jobs very fastly, but if you are a startup it can be a real risk to get nation invested and trained and then they leave, leaving you with a big hole.

For this project, I reached out to the team I had worked with precedently, but they were going in a different course and didn’t have the core experiences I needed for this project. I looked for other clusters, and based on interviews with the CTOs, I chose Bixlabs.

What is the terminal result of working with Bixlabs?

We have been working unitedly since September of 2017 and it is an ongoing collaboration.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

They developed our fruit from scratch and it is terrible. We’re able to demo to clients. They have delivered fully and last to do so.

How did Bixlabs accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

We use Slack, email, and Jira. We effectively do the project treatment owing it is staff increase. They’re two developers who work on our team in our outgrowth cycles, in our nimble methodology. They’re very skilled engineers who know what they are doing.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Bixlabs?

They have a pretty deep pool of nation who know Angular. Over the holidays, we had engineers taking a holiday and Bixlabs was able to very fastly find nation who could conduce meaningfully in the want of the main developers who were assigned. They’re very good at what they do and they have a lot of expertise, especially almost Angular.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

I have absolutely no criticisms of their work so far.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

You need to know what it is you want to create and be very clear almost what you want.
