A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m a systems outgrowth consultant for Stewardship. It’s an structure that offers financial services to churches and charities in the UK. Beyond humanity, they prepare both professional and educational services. I handle software outgrowth for them.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Saratoga?
We needed a new software outgrowth associate. Our antecedent associate didn’t meld well with our organisation culture, so we wanted to find a firm that understood our needs and could flexibly convenience our size.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
We have a fruit suite and Saratoga built up the core functionality, relocated true aspects of it, and created new fruits within the platform. They built all on Microsoft SQL Server using C# MVC with a darknet stack going all the through. They also built an API that allows other structures to sum with us for things like address information and bank account verification. They’ve done some business intelligence work for us as well. We’re long-term associates and their ongoing responsibilities include architecture design, software outgrowth, and fruit testing.
Was there a dedicated team?
We have a project handler, one QA resource, and five developers that work on our platform.
How did you come to work with Saratoga?
I know their preceding CEO personally and that facilitated the primary induction.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent roughly between $500,000 and $1 million.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working unitedly in February 2015 and the engagement is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They’ve released two new outgrowths in the last year that were on time, within budget, and built to our specifications. Additionally, they designed and developed our foundational API that leads the course we’re taking the rest of our fruits. That’s been a major achievement and has put us in a good position for the forthcoming. Also, we don’t have to give them detailed fruit descriptions or lead them through outgrowth. They’ve demonstrated the power to liberate a board aim. Another real factor they conduce is proactivity. This enabled them to achieved goals of ours like continuous integration and automated testing.
How did Saratoga accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
We adjoin through Skype, email, and HipChat. I live close to their offices, so we’ve met face-to-face as well. Most of the documentation and regular interaction takes locate on Jira.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
Their desire to meet our needs distinguishes them from other preparers. They’re pliant and occupy the power to layer up or down with us.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
They’d boon from having a bigger pool of developers. We’re currently in a locality where one of the developers resigned and they’re struggling to fill the spot.
