Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
Savaco is an IT organisation nimble on the Belgian market. We have 3 divisions. Our IT division offers ICT Infrastructure and security for datacenters and the workplace. The Business Productivity Solutions division instruments SharePoint projects for process optimization. Finally, the CAD [computer-aided design] and PLM [fruit lifecycle treatment] division instruments CAD, PLM and IOT software for companies that do fruit outgrowth. I’m responsible for the technical teams of the CAD and PLM division and the BPS division.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Transition Technologies?
Transition Technologies worked with our CAD and PLM division. We instrument software from the software vendor PTC, an American organisation, at the client website and add customizations to those platforms.
They supported us with Windchill customizations (the PTC PLM software) and instrumentations of ThingWorx, (the IOT platform of PTC ). The main challenge was the need for extra skilled resources in those domains. TT offered this in a very fast and pliant way.

What particular tasks were Transition Technologies PSC responsible for?
They helped us with separate projects, instrumenting customization on top of a PTC platform. One of them was an IoT [Internet of things] project where we developed a business case to prove the possibilities of the vendor’s IoT platform to our clients. This was an engagement of 20 days.
We also worked unitedly on a PLM project where we also instrumented PTC software. They did large-scale customization for us on that platform using 1 developer for 3 or 4 months.
How did you come to work with Transition Technologies?
We met them at a fair organized by PTC. We have in-house developers, but we wanted to prolong our team and add a true quantity of flexibility to the space we had. They were a good fit for us.
How much have you invested with Transition Technologies?
We invested almost $45000.
What is the terminal result of working with Transition Technologies PSC?
We seted working with them last year. We aligned pretty fastly as far as what we wanted and what they could liberate. I ponder the initial touch took us a couple of weeks, and then we were able to set a project unitedly.
It',s an ongoing collaboration, and we hope to prolong it to more projects. We have some in the pipeline that we’d like them to help with as well.

Could you share any evidence that would prove the fruitivity, condition of work, or contact of the engagement?
One of the projects that we did unitedly involving edifice an IoT demonstrator from scratch. Based on feedback from within the organisation and also from a number of clients, it was a very palpable demonstration. Customers could see how it works and esteem the value of the solution. We were able to create this fruit unitedly in a brief quantity of time. That truely proved that they’re a good organisation to work with.
How did Transition Technologies accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They have very brief interaction lines, so they reply fastly. I don’t know which processes or tools they use, but I don',t need to have that information. As long as they liberate the results we need within the timeframe and budget that we agreed on, I',m lucky.
What did you find most forcible almost Transition Technologies?
I’m impressed by the apprehension of the nation on their team. We have worked with other partners precedently for outgrowth work, but they had to look for the right resource precedently we could set the collaboration. Transition Technologies can liberate a good resource from the very set of the project. We don’t have to lose a lot of time interviewing nation.
