Food Union, a dairy-producing enterprise spanned across Europe, Russia and Eastern Asia, have started centralizing its procurement process, seeking for decrease of working capital. Deployment of PSM (Product Specification Management) solution became essential as procurement centers responsible for specific materials were established across Food Union production sites.
Codenetix team was faced by a challenging task: to
offer a product that should be more user friendly than corporate PSM solutions (zero time invested in user training is a must), web-based (no installation, no corporate LAN), cover all features needed for a Customer team, and, finally, be less expensive than corporate out-of-the-box solutions.Pilot team have started to use MVP for ice cream sticks unification just a month from the project kick-off, and full PSM web app have been released in under than three months.
