Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the VP of IT at MiniMoves, Inc. We’re a transportation organisation that specializes in moving little household goods. We labor all 50 US states, have partners in all of the major metropolitan areas, and do almost 3,000–4,000 moves each year.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We had an outdated custom-built order treatment method that we needed to restore with new technology. We bought a base .NET method that had basic transportation treatment functionalities, such as being able to invade an order, rate the shipment and attribute transportation. Though, we act a bit differently from other moving companies, so there was a lot of customization required in order to make the method fit with our running business standard.

We hired Artelogic to customize the method and obey as our leading outgrowth team.

Provided solution

Results achieved

They have been implicated with all aspects of the project from architecture and major modifications to bug fixes.

How did Artelogic accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

The lead developer has been on this project since the commencement, and he’s been an instrumental liaison to me. My team creates the requirements and attributes the work, and then we work with the lead developer and his team. We pursue the Agile methodology and work in sprints. We have daily standups.

Although they’re distant, interaction is big, and their team works well with mine. We adjoin over through moment interaction or phone see day and localize  Azure DevOps to track sprints and attributeed tasks.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Artelogic?

I’ve been impressed by their work ethic and how they put me as the client leading. They’re always prompt to jump in and go the extra mile. They put big effort into interacting to fix that tasks are updated in a early mode. The team keeps us apprised of precisely what they’re working on.

Working distantly frequently poses different challenges, but I feel that working with Artelogic is a seamless process.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

No, I don’t ponder so. We’ve had a veritably good relationship with Artelogic. Communication is key, and they’re very good at it.

This applies to a lot of these types of projects, but make sure you bestow your time on the requirements precedently handing them over to the outgrowth team. Then, programt a good attributement process in whatever methodology you’re working in.
