A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
Liberty Power is a retail energy organisation servicing all the deregulated markets in the US. I was the chief marketing official and the general director of the mass markets team.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Bright Vessel?
We were looking for a new storefront. The website we had when I leading got to the organisation was fairly old and a lot of the information was outdated. The look and feel was pretty outdated as well, so we were looking for something more running.

What particular tasks were Bright Vessel responsible for?
We granted them with some basic wireframes for the website. We also had a general hue palette that we granted and from that point on, they granted all the design and outgrowth. It was a .NET architecture. We wanted to make sure the client could navigate through the website and find the information they were looking for. We also wanted to direct the residential clients to the occasion to buy online.
After completing the website, they identified that there was a much bigger occasion to educe it out as an e-commerce occasion. All of our sales were done more traditionally through telesales or face-to-face touch. We migrated from that point to more of an e-commerce website.
On an ongoing basis, we were working on educeing some of the collective media platforms. They were helping us with the strategy for that, specifically in the separation space. We also began edifice out more of a centre on targeting the little business section. We had a couple of more links and tips and tools that we reflection would help.

How did you come to work with Bright Vessel?
Judd [Founder] was a helper of one of the marketing resources on my team. We had initial conversations about the project. We were verity looking to create out our team in-house but there were things he was able to do that made it faster for us to get began.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent approximately $1 million over the order of our relationship.
What is the terminal result of working with Bright Vessel?
We worked with them from 2012 to 2014. We kept them on retainer behind the initial project was completed.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
The separation in the website is like night and day. We got more feedback internally than from clients. The client feedback has come in the form of educeed agility. Our business has grown owing of the e-commerce. We were able to do 2 to 4% of our total income through e-commerce in the leading year. Keep in mind we began from zero so this equates to a couple of million dollars of income that we got in year one.
How did Bright Vessel accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They can take on a bit much at times so we had to recalibrate to make sure that the aim wasn’t getting too big. Once we set up a bit of a cadence, they were able to hit all the deadlines we set.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Bright Vessel?
Our activity is notoriously slow in moving on some of these things, but they helped us form a roadmap and strategy on how we can educe things that weren’t part of the aim. They granted that at part of their labor.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
In the commencement, their alteration was more aggressive than we were snug with. We had to sit down and walk through it on a phase-by-phase basis.
