I am the outer digital marketing director for UMass Memorial Health Care, a health care method in mediate Massachusetts. We have more than 12,000 employees and three hospitals.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Centretek?
We needed to streamline our method’s outdated website and digital nearness.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
They worked with us for a year to form new frameworks. We held numerous centre groups and stakeholder meetings for them to apprehend our structure and the population we obey. Subsequent collaboration centreed on crossover from an existing website to the new Drupal platform.
While we didn’t change our logo, it was a total revamp. The feel and centre emphasized resigned experience over the labors we propose. Our new landing page had more jutting calls to action: an affable resigned gate, visibly featured touch information, and web tools to book appointments or find a doctor.
The website launched in March 2014. Currently, they prepare on-going livelihood and support us with updates or adding features.
What is the team dynamic?
We have a dedicated account director and a team of 5 that supports her. I interact with them on a customary basis.
How did you come to work with Centretek?
Their engagement preceded my employment with UMass. Though, I believe we invited them to answer to our RFP behind a conversation. During our search, the vice chairman spoke with the team, ultimately, we chose them.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent over $1 million.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
Work began January 2013 and is on-going.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
Conrendering increased 10% from last year. Year to year, we’ve seen terrible growth in hits and conrendering. User feedback is very good. Patients say the website is more user-friendly than the older rendering.
How did Centretek accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They’re excellent. We are a hard client with intricate and changing needs. Though, the team has taken a real interest to apprehend how we work by interacting with our stakeholders and G Suite. We talk on the phone customaryly and use Basecamp. The team brings a new perspective and readily proposes choice solutions.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They supported us in pitching our case to executives, physicians, and our labor lines. The team helped art messages that everyone was able to apprehend. That extra labor stood out.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Greater consistence with the account director is needed. As with any big agency, they’ve had a lot of turnover and many new hires lagged in apprehending our project fully. Though, our size and intricateity only compounded that challenge.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Honesty is the best program, be upfront with goals. But also be open to suggestions and change owing the team is very sharp edge when it comes to website design. We were hesitant with many suggestions until we saw those features on other websites.
