Big ideas are the stuff success is made of and our CEO Norman fearlessly leads the strategic vision of PACIFIC. He has over 10 years of experience in search marketing and anyone who has ever crossed paths with him will tell you this guy knows his stuff.
Thanks to a passion for keywords and a Type-A personality Norman has been the driving force behind hundreds of successful campaign implementations throughout his career. When he founded PACIFIC he knew he wanted to kick up some dust in the industry and has grown a handful of beta customers into a robust roster of top-tier brands across the globe.
Prior to PACIFIC Norman held various search marketing and development positions at Websense Cenzic and SEO Inc. Most recently he served as GM for the digital advertising firm STEAK in Los Angeles. And even though he claims to be a shy violet he is a frequent speaker and panelist at various industry events.
When Norman is not busy making things work at work he spends his free time pretending to train for an IRONMAN triathlon; he also loves to snowboard and bake. To his employees he is known for leading by example as well as making really long speeches and placing an embargo on Cheez-Its. PS: Norman wants you to know he hates titles and was forced to write this bio.

When you consider hes worked at giants like BeyondTrust Covario Time Warner Cable Newgen Results Corporation Thompson-Rose Consulting Radyne ComStream and General Dynamics his knowledge of all things tech and finance comes as no surprise.

Director of Culture amp; People Joelle Cammarata has done a little bit of everything in the HR world. Shes worked at tiny nonprofits global companies with over 1400 employees and everything in between. With that array of experience she has honed a skill set that encompasses organizational development performance management and employee relations as well as recruiting. During a decade in industries such as healthcare and tech Joelle built a career dedicated to helping employees find a home at and excel in their respective careers and passions. However toward the end of 2019 she was ready for a new challenge.
Fortunately for all of us PACIFIC lured her in. She was intrigued by the companys present situation: it had a strong foundation but needed additional architecture to keep growing. Joelle saw a place where she could advocate for employees and help them fine-tune their strengths. She could continue to grow PACIFICs culture even further as the company developed into a digital powerhouse. She was sold and the rest as they say is history.
(Oh and the idea of that famous San Diego sunshine didnt hurt either—especially after several winters spent in Utah!)
Joelle received a degree in Communication from The University of Arizona and taught English in Barcelona before taking the leap into HR. When shes not working on career pathing or planning company excursions you can find her attending concerts sampling San Diegos food scene and traveling back to Philadelphia to see family and friends.

As PACIFICs Director of SEO Shawn is always thinking about the best way to solve a problem. With over 12 years of experience in search marketing and a passion for analytics he likes to start any task by forming a holistic picture of the situation before getting into the nuts and bolts. This leads to a deeper understanding of the clients business and can usually be applied somewhere else!
Before joining the PACIFIC team Shawn earned his degree in Business Management at Arizona State University and specialized in International Business. This focus on global marketing took him all over the world for work and opened the door to SEO for some big brands. Some of his favorite past work was with Ray-Ban Mitsubishi Hilton Marriott and Visit Singapore (especially the last one because he got the royal treatment while in Singapore).
Shawn eventually found a home in San Diego where he started taking his side hobbies seriously and built up two small brands focused on affiliate marketing. Both websites were the perfect lab for all of the SEO ideas he wanted to test on his clients and once they were proven to work he would pitch them. True story: this once led to Ray-Bans Aviator sunglasses becoming their best-selling item online.
When Shawn isnt in the office he spends most of his time with his family and friends outdoors either on the golf course on a trail or on a brewery crawl.

If the devils in the details then Joshua Slodki is our devious shoulder angel. As PACIFICs Director of Analytics amp; Paid Media Josh makes sense of marketing data points so that our strategists and practitioners can deliver effective recommendations and learn valuable knowledge from each project we complete. Before joining the PACIFIC team Josh earned a degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He kicked off his career selling statistical software and then was introduced to the importance of data in business while discovering an interest in marketing. We could say the rest is history but wait theres more!
Josh soon said farewell to the software sales industry to pursue search-based marketing. During his tenure at Covario—now iProspect—he partnered with a database architect to build a centralized paid search marketing and performance reporting system which became the framework for the technology Covario later developed. Next Josh expanded his experience in digital marketing and ecommerce even more while working with TurboTax and Petco…and this experience is a perfect fit for PACIFIC.
As a Chicago native Josh sure does miss deep-dish pizza Chicago-style hot dogs and his hometowns diverse live music culture. But he doesnt mind being able to go outside between the months of November and March so…
When he doesnt have his nose in a spreadsheet Josh loves to spend time with his wife Kristen and their cat Myrvelvin and pug Hugo—whether theyre traveling the world or hosting a backyard barbecue with friends.

It takes a rare mind to embrace the role of PACIFICs Director of Strategy amp; Planning but Jamey fits the bill. Hes the kind of person that intentionally chooses to specialize in a field of marketing (social media and digital content strategy) that moves and changes so fast it would (and does) drive many people crazy. For whatever reason this guy loves that the industry innovations he reads about in the morning are usually obsolete by that same afternoon. He says it has something to do with ’keeping our clients strategic positioning in a state of constant motion and creative evolution so that were always the leaders never just following the pack.’ We totally agree.
Before joining PACIFIC Jamey was managing social media and content marketing campaigns for clients in the tech entertainment and hospitality sectors. Hes brought that expertise to our team and is currently helping our clients run clever social media and off-page content initiatives. Watching him work makes the rest of us dizzy but man do we love the results he stirs up—and most importantly so do our clients. When he does slow down its usually to relax with his beautiful wife D. and their adorable dogs (and office mascots) Penny and Molly.
