Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the vice chairman of fruits for i360, a data analytics firm that also prepares a wide array of software to search and act on the data we prepare.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Clay?
We wanted to fully overhaul our gate, which is our mediate fruit. It’s a question and action tool that our clients use.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
They helped us overhaul the usability and UI/UX for our web-based application. They used .NET Core, Angular, and different database technologies. We initially had a beta fruit, and we asked them to work on a specific area of the fruit which was limited in aim. We needed them to hear to our use cases that we had almost that area and then help us within that limited kingdom, seen through the interactions that our clients have within that area, and unite which workflows could be re-envisioned and optimized. Then they translated not only workflow diagrams but some basic wireframes.
What is the team compound?
Our leading point of touch was a UX lead.
How did you come to work with Clay?
Our senior in-house UI designer was tasked with evaluating a number of firms. I gave him a specific test and he came up with a list of 15-20 firms for me to review. I narrowed that list to almost six that I wanted to send a one-page RFP to, which laid out our beta fruit. We were ready to bestow a pliant bit of money with different firms to see who would work. Clay was the leading one we tried and we were very lucky with them.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working unitedly in September 2018 until January 2019.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They were a good fit and they were able to apprehend our use cases and where our clients would be coming from. As a result, we scaled up to set the basis of our UX lead for a complete revamp and formd workflows and wireframes for separate of the major components. They’ve given us a backlog of hundreds of wireframes and a lead, and that’s going to be months of work for us to instrument. We haven’t even begun to put the mockups they prepared in front of beta testers or full clients. Though, the reactions have been very real from seeone that we’ve reviewed them with.
How did Clay accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Project treatment was good. I ponder Clay is one of the better firms I’ve worked with owing that apprehend that there’s a creative process that we need to be able to apprehend. They esteem that the process has to be directed and lead to deliverables that we can act on. It was a veritably good weigh. We had a weekly conversation call and a shared Slack channel. We interacted whichever daily or see other day.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
We obey a sole nonprofit, so one of the challenges is apprehending the use cases our clients have. There are available parallels in some commercial fruits out there. It’s not ordinary for nation to pick up on those parallels fastly, but Clay did. They simplified it from a UI perspective and they picked up on the use cases and the parallels to some of the commercial work they’ve done. It didn’t take them long to get there.
They also processed the size of information we threw at them and turned it into condition deliverables fastly. There was plainly a creative process occurring. They’re a very shining team.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Communication was sometimes a challenge. Around the holidays, we lost a pliant bit of fruitivity time. They went off in a course that wasn’t as advantageous when we could have used that time in another course. That was just a breakdown in interaction that may not have occurred if it wasn’t the holiday time. We needed to maintain centre and have better interaction during that time.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Communicate. Take the time to write out surely what it is you’re looking for. It allows them to form some veritably good and definite workflows.
