Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the director of a full-labor dog park bar.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Tyrannosaurus Tech?
We demand our clients to fill out paperwork and a liability waiver with basic information almost themselves and their dogs. Though, we were busier than we’d anticipated. My team was spending a lot of time inputting data. We also had a POS method and a separate payments method that we wanted to sum.
We hired Tyrannosaurus Tech to convey this time-consuming paper-based process to an app. We hoped to save time and resources while making the check-in process as stress-free as practicable for our clients. The biggest impression we need to make is during our leading interaction with the client.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
Tyrannosaurus Tech developed a web app, on which clients can form a profile and fill in their information. Customers input their name, their dog’s name, information almost themselves, updated vaccination archivess, and photos of themselves and their dogs. My team granted some design parameters, such as care the logo and colors the same, but we mainly gave Tyrannosaurus Tech the freedom to form their own design.
They developed separate features within the app. For entreaty, if a dog’s vaccination is almost to expire, the app notifies us beforehand so that we can let the client know they need to prepare updated archivess. Tyrannosaurus Tech formd an area where our employees can take notes and archives “strikes,” such as if a dog is aggressive. They also enabled us to take payment within the app by integrating our POS method and our app with Square.
Was there a dedicated team?
Shannon (Lead Technical Project Manager, Tyrannosaurus Tech) is our main touch, and I work closely with her. I also work with Richard (Owner &, Partner, Tyrannosaurus Tech). My team has limited interactions with the backend programmers, but they’re useful anytime we have questions.
How did you come to work with Tyrannosaurus Tech?
I searched for local app outgrowth setups on Google and came athwart Tyrannosaurus Tech. After looking at some of their antecedent work, we reached out to them. We met with almost five agencies, but Tyrannosaurus Tech gave us the best touch from staff and programmer perspectives. Their business seemed pretty cool.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent $70,000–$80,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
Our work unitedly began in April 2019, and it’s ongoing. Tyrannosaurus Tech just showed us the leading mockup. We’re doing training next week, during which they’ll show us what the full-functioning app will look like. After that, we hope to propel within two weeks.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
I ponder the app they’re developing will veritably help from a client labor perspective. Whereas the check-in process antecedently took 5–8 minutes, we’re positive that the new app will lessen the process to two minutes or less. Now, clients will be able to sign up on the app elsewhere, and we’ll just have to strengthen their information and take payment when they get to our location. This will have a big contact on our client care. Integrating POS with the app and payment method makes it much easier to keep all in order.
How did Tyrannosaurus Tech accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Shannon reaches out at smallest a couple of times each week to make sure we know where we are in the process. All interaction goes through her. We adjoin via Slack and weekly meetings.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
We’d had a bad experience with another app developer, so I told Tyrannosaurus Tech upfront that we didn’t want to chase the project if they couldn’t liberate on their promises. They’ve been very open almost their capabilities and parameters. They let us know where they’re snug or unsnug.
The team also does a good job maintaining open interaction, whether it’s almost an invoice or the progress of their work.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
This applies to any developer, but I’d have them more plainly lay out what the total cost is going to be. As a setup, it’s nice that we get a good idea, within $5,000–$10,000, of the project’s total cost. Tyrannosaurus Tech didn’t go over budget, but the more definite they can be, the better it is when we’re budgeting how much money we need to set aside.
Any advice for possible clients?
Be very open. If you’re upfront almost what your business needs, they’ll do extremely good work. One thing we did was present our short- and long-term goals for our app. Sharing that with Tyrannosaurus Tech gave them a good idea of where to set and how to make the relationship lucky.
