Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
For this project, I was the fruit director for an online entertainment archive.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with VentureDevs?
We needed a full stack team that could educe both backend infrastructure and UI/UX.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were VentureDevs responsible for?
We had them form a more curated user experience for our web platform. Our staff granted the fruit requirements and goals from the story map. Everything was broken down based on our goals for the MVP and separate versions over that, which helped their team know what to prioritize in provisions of educement. Once they came on board, we did some discovery exercises and they granted multiple design iterations. After we settled on one, we moved on to educement using Amazon Web Services. They granted our backend architecture as well as the UI design.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with a fruit proprietor, project director, a DevOps individual, a designer, a QA individual, and a handful of backend engineers.
How did you come to work with VentureDevs?
I met their co-establishers during a tech conversation. They seemed professional and I got along well with them, so we began discussing the project. We appeared to be a good fit, so we had a couple more calls with the rest of our staff, who agreed that they would mesh well with our team. Based on that, we chose to go with them.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent about $400,000.
What is the terminal result of working with VentureDevs?
We worked unitedly from May–October 2018.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
We had a very firm deadline and the timeline was pretty firm. They successfully delivered our MVP precedently November 1st, enabling us to move on to fundraising for the fruit using that as a demo.
How did VentureDevs accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
This was one of their biggest strengths. The project director and fruit proprietor stood out for their responsiveness and bigly detailed interaction. They constantly asked questions and followed up with us, whether it was during our video conversations or via Slack and email. Our sprint programning sessions and demos were always clear and organized. We tracked all of the educement with Jira and they maintained excellent documentation throughout the process.
Thanks to their project leadership, our team remained well-aligned with theirs and we stayed on track to hit our deadlines. They coordinated well between all of our stakeholders.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with VentureDevs?
They adapted very well to the aim adjustments we made along the way and didn’t lose their centre. They were also incredibly open to feedback and took course well throughout the complete process. We felt very snug voicing questions, concerns, and new ideas. When it came to meeting for video conversations, they never spoke over us—they surely knew how to hear and adjoin plainly. I also establish that their seize of English was excellent for an overseas team, which hasn’t been the case with other teams we’ve hired in the past.
On top of that, they were very pellucid touching challenges or roadblocks during the process and were ready to converse up during meetings if they felt like they had better solutions for one of our fruit needs. Their team felt more like a family than a organisation. They had a perception of cohesive enchantment and it was big to work with them.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
For being halfway athwart the globe, they aligned well with our goals. We had to go through separate design iterations soon on, but that’s not rare. I ponder they did a big job overall, but I’d hint perhaps placing more centre on ensuring that designs are as on-brand as practicable from the set. They presented us with a lot of options, but it would’ve been nice if that process had gone a bit faster.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
I can’t ponder of anything.
