Introductory information

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We have a marketing software organisation that is going through a rebranding project. We track and report digital marketing campaigns and connect publishers with brands in the financial services space. All of our clients are big banks or FinTech companies. I superintend operations and am heavily implicated in the outgrowth process.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Convergence?

At our old brand, we had a piece of technology that was initially built for another activity. As we pivoted into this new brand, we hoped to redevelop the technology to better support the needs of our clients in the banking space. We wanted to better transparency and despatch. It',s a intricate piece of technology, and we needed the right team that could work fast and help us evolve as the needs of our clients changed.

Provided solution

What was the aim of their involvement?

There are five key components that they work on: the dashboard for the brand and publishers, the reporting engine, tracking capabilities, comcommission calculations and payments, and the creative treatment solution. We needed to create all those features in a agile, supportive way. They help customize a CMS solution, yielding tools, and some new automations.

What is the team compound?

At any given time, we work with six or seven team members on their side. We collaborate sometimes with their CEO, and we also work with a project director, two developers, and two designers. We work unitedly to debate the commission, and we interface with the total team for each sprint.

How did you come to work with Convergence?

Our parent organisation invests in tech businesses in our local market and in places we can add value. One of those businesses used Convergence, and we kept an eye on them in case the need for their services ever arose. As we evolved, we felt their capabilities and resources would be a good fit. They were very entire, and they were a good cultural match for us. We wanted a associate who would act as an extension of our team, and they had a pellucid, collaborative access.

How much have you invested with them?

We',ve invested approximately $200,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We kicked off the project in March 2019, and our collaboration is ongoing.

Results achieved

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?

We haven',t launched the new platform yet, and we',re just almost to migrate the data over. They have completed a microwebsite for us, which we just launched. The project took a pliant longer than we anticipated, but they delivered within a snug schedule and within our budget. Version one will be completed shortly, and we',re already debateing phase two.

How did Convergence accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

They are phenomenal project directors. From the opening, they set good expectations, tracking procedures, and treatment structures. They are very faithful, and everyone is invested in the project. We have a two-week sprint cycle, and I know each of the team members individually. Hands down, they',re the best team I',ve ever worked with.

What did you find most forcible almost them?

Their nation are amazing. They all fetch their strengths to the table, and they all beam in their own way. Everyone carries their own gravity, and they',re all invested in the real outcomes of the project. They all work very well unitedly, and their collaboration and transparency allow them to follow.

Are there any areas they could better?

We could have spent more time upfront on the intricateities of the project. Had we spent more time explaining the more challenging pieces, they could have given us a more careful timing estimate. They could have explored that a pliant more, but they veritably couldn',t have known at the set how intricate the project veritably was.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

As with any structure like theirs, it',s significant to bestow time at the commencement to get a entire brief and apprehension. They',ll fetch their apprehension and experience to your project, but make sure you give them clear requirements. Trust their expertise when they propose alternatives to your program, they have the best outcomes in mind.
