Provided solution
What particular tasks were Atomic Object responsible for?
We occupied Atomic Object to help us release rendering 1.2 of our app. The team helped us create separate new features, including increasing our search flexibility. The initial fruit, which is exclusively a web app, was created in PHP, using the Laravel framework.
Along the way, the team collaborated with us on ways to swell the architecture and program for long term growth and the updates that will come with it. The advice they offered extended past appropriate forthcoming technologies to even include strategies on how to repair and colloquy an in-house engineer.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked three nation in total: two full-time educeers and a liberatey lead who was useful as needed.
How did you come to work with Atomic Object?
Atomic Object was a associate of a organisation I previously worked at. Though I hadn’t worked with them personally, I knew they were a team who could liberate fast, condition work, which was precisely what we needed.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We spent a pliant below $70,000.
What is the terminal result of working with Atomic Object?
The project took locate from January–March 2020.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?
The app is live, but it’s hard to track metrics right now, as collective distancing has limited childcare services bigly. Though, we’ve presented the app to some of our investors and strategic collaborators, and they all love it. The increased functionality has had a big contact on the user experience of the app overall.
How did Atomic Object accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Their project treatment phraseology was the best part of working with them. As a designer myself, I was heavily implicated in the project, and we collaborated straightly throughout the project. Atomic Object set up criteria and procurement tools soon on, which allowed us to have an powerful workflow. We used Basecamp for interaction and Pivotal Tracker for task treatment.
Though the team didn’t come into the engagement with an extensive background in Laravel, they picked it up very fastly, asking the right questions of our freelance educeer who built our initial MVP.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Atomic Object?
Their intrinsic power to talk to us in a speech we could belowstand and lead us through decisions was phenomenal. I always felt included in the converse, and despite their expertise, they never patronized me. Atomic Object granted our structure with so many educational moments without it ever touch like they were doing so. It was always a seamless part of their interaction.
Further, when I give a outgrowth team my vision for the frontend, it’s frequently a long time precedently I can see it come to life. Atomic Object stood out in that they were always able to educe a high-condition fruit, while balancing our need to be scrappy as a startup.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No, not at all. They’re doing all right.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Figure out what you want your role to be in the engagement. You can maximize what you get out of the relationship with Atomic Object depending on what you put in.
