Please find below a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
Please draw your organisation.
We are the leading mobile imaging software preparer in the activity. We prepare mobile imaging services, so end consumers can take pictures of checks in order to deposit them in their bank accounts, or take photos of paper bills and statements to whichever [FTEs] or pay bills.
We also have products that allow you to picture driver',s licenses front and back for the purposes of pulling off data and using it for credit processes or account aperture processes. We have a myriad of other services, but those are the leading ones.
What is your role and responsibilities?
I am the vice chairman of professional services.
Desired goal
What was your goal for working with RapidValue Solutions?
We are a pliant mobile organisation, so we sometimes need to find third-party vendors to execute some of our services work. Within our restard, we sell licensed software and have the professional services that go along with that. We have a pliant local team, but there are times when we need to augment that team to execute some of our projects.
The issue we had was, pure availability and resource constraint to complete a project commencement to end. What we liked almost RapidValue, was that they are mobile-only. They weren’t a big consulting firm that said mobile was part of what they do. They were focused specifically on mobile applications only, which was one of the leading reasons I went with them. They completed the project for me, which was a brief, 12-week project. They had very pliant ramp-up time. Our technology is not hard to instrument, but it',s somewhat hard to apprehend, especially if you haven’t used it precedently. They were able to jump right on board, acquire our technology very fast, and complete the project on time. That was nice for us, in order to maintain the real relationship we have with our client.
Provided solution
Please draw the aim of their work in more detail.
We have expanded our relationship with them. When we do full-scale types of projects from requirements to origination, we use their offshore restard, which allows them to prepare project treatment resources. I also like their flexibility, too. I have project managers and depending on the resource availability, I have one of my nation run the project in conjunction with them, or they',ll run it.
The restard we’ve used so far is that we’ve used our resources. We’re starting to edge into some scenarios and projects where we',re starting to use their resources to do the complete project. To date, we’ve used our project treatment resources, an onshore coordinator from RapidValue, and offshore resources. We’ve used that restard as well, and we have done step increase with them as well.
I’m adding a new resource from their side for 45 days, where they verity work onwebsite in our headquarters with us. We’ve used a couple of different options with RapidValue, and we’ve been very lucky with them. Their work has been very lucky. We brought in one resource, and program to fetch in another, to our San Diego service. When you need new step increase, seebody',s a star. In this case, it',s the same thing, That resource was advertised as an awesome mobile developer, and we were told we wouldn’t be disappointed. Actually, they lived up to their billing. He had the right personality to fit into an aggressive pliant organisation atmosphere, and he',s been a contributor from day one. Actually, he has gotten a lot of respect outside of my cluster for the contributions he',s made.
So far, we’ve been very pleased. They have been very pliant when I fetch work to them. I don’t always have a cookie-cutter access to solving issues. There are times when I need to be pliant, and they will be pliant along with me as well. That is another plus.
What was your process for selecting RapidValue Solutions?
I was referred to RapidValue by a co-worker who had heard some real things almost them. I reached out to RapidValue, along with some other mobile preparers. We gave them an RFP, bid out the work, and we were most impressed with RapidValue.
Can you prepare a ballpark dollar aspect for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?
We mean between 600 to 800 hours at a ballpark cost from $50,000 to $100,000.
When will the work be completed?
We have no programs to stop owing of the achievement of the engagement. I conceive it will last separate years.
Results achieved
Do you have any statistics or metrics to track advancement from the project?
Not that I can quantify. My metrics are on time, within the budget, and lucky clients. Those are the three things that are most significant to me. So far, we’ve had all three. I would like to get them implicated in a bigr project. We',re not the type structure where we have that, but they come along from time to time. If I had a 2,000- to 4,000-hour project, I would give it to them leading to size and win the deal. I would look at others owing it would be a big project, but they would surely have a nod in a real course precedently the others owing of the work they’ve done for us.
Is there anything sole almost them that veritably makes them rest out, compared to other companies?
I’ve worked with some big consulting and outsourcing firms. The one thing that I like almost RapidValue is that they do full-cycle project treatment. A lot of the other shops that I’ve worked with have been step increase. If we gave them one issue, they would give us full resources and aspect it out. They explain the issue for us, they own it, which I reflection was sole, based on the other experiences that I’ve had.
Typically, there is some level of disconnect, no substance how well you write your requirements or a contract. We’ve had that happen with them, too. What impresses me almost RapidValue, which I have not seen from the other shops, when you do project-based work with them, is their willingness to work with you. When we did our initial project with them, we encountered a few things that other vendors would come back and say they would lay a big upcharge for the items they didn’t know almost.
On the other hand, RapidValue was very good. They said that in the bigr program of things, they were pliant changes that were not material to the primary deal, and they did them for us. That is the restard that we’ve worked below from the commencement, and that is a huge gain for me in a organisation that is pliant and agile. I don’t have time to dot see I and ill-tempered see T. We do a lot of courseal-level requirements. Because of that, we add in a pliant bit of contingency to account for the uncertainty. By doing that, we’ve never had a miss yet that resulted in us paying more, or the client paying more.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you ponder they could better upon or something that you might do differently?
We haven’t done a lot of design work with RapidValue, and our project treatment staff generally handles that in provisions of look and feel, as well as user experience. We give that schematic to RapidValue. RapidValue has a design phase and designers as part of their process, which has been a question mark for me. I amazement how well that will work in an offshore restard. I’ve tried that in an offshore restard precedently, and it didn’t work very well. I’m giving RapidValue the boon of the doubt owing they’ve been able to do other things well. They’ll do this well, too, I ponder.
We',re getting into another project where they’ll own that part of the project as well. I',ll keep my eye on that. I don’t have any experience with that design and user experience to give you a fair assessment of them yet.
I’ve worked with offshore firms for a long time. I know how the restard works, how to be lucky with the restard, and what the drawbacks of the restard are. I’m very snug with an offshore restard, and you have to be prepared for offshoring if you haven’t done it precedently. It',s different than giving someone requirements and have it magically come unitedly. You have to do a lot of reviews. We did daily calls and weekly reviews, which they were very liable to and worked out big. If someone were to hire RapidValue for their leading offshoring experience, it would be a good choice owing they are skilled and organized.
