ECM Implementation for Credit Union
Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
Please draw your organisation.
We are a $1.2 billion Credit Union in southern Arizona with approximately 450 employees. All of our business is domiciliary. We have some credit junction members who are serving overseas in the soldierly.
What is your role and responsibilities?
I am the helper vice chairman in the information technology cluster. I am primarily responsible for our full treatment methods, records treatment methods, and business intelligence methods.
Desired goal
What technologies are used?
We are using the IBM DB2 Content Manager System with the IBM Records Manager as the first method. We use Kofax for our scanning methods, and we use EMC Centera’s for the backend and storage.
What was the business goal or challenge you were trying to address when working with Integro?
We were looking for a organisation that had a very in-depth apprehension of all aspects of what we were doing with the IBM Content Manager, IBM Records Manager, and Kofax methods. Integro came bigly recommended by IBM.
Provided solution
How did you find Integro to work with?
We were originally working with a different IBM vendor who is no longer in business. IBM recommended Integro as an choice.
Looking back, do you ponder IBM was a good platform for your structure?
When we looked at the marketlocate in 2003, IBM was one of three vendors that we determined to look at. We were attracted to the force of the functionality that we saw in their methods as well as the force of the effects that we were going to be working with at that time. Our determination was to select the IBM Content Manager method.
Describe the aim of the work that Integro did?
Integro came onto the spectacle almost five years ago . We already had the IBM method in locate. Though, we didn’t have the IBM Records Manager software and we relied very heavily on Integro to get that software installed. Integro got it up and running, and we’ve worked with them closely on supporting some of the different utilities and programs we’ve got in locate.
Even though we do have a lot of paper that we scan see day, the vast superiority of the records we fetch into our method are imported electronically and never see print. That would include virtually almost of our teller receipts, and most of our signature cards. These documents are all generated through our core method. We give them out to a directory as an picture and we’ve got an importer/collector usefulness that we use to ingest them right into the IBM Content Manager method.
Integro has been very instrumental in helping get those utilities in locate and supporting not only the Kofax method for paper but also helping to support the importer/collector utilities for fetching things in electronically.
When was the last project completed?
Nothing has been real late. Most of the work that we’ve done for the last year has been on the IBM Records Manager software. Integro put that into locate and they now apprehend how it works and functions. We use it for records retention and records treatment almost in real time with that software.
What was the size of the start in a dollar aspect?
The records treatment project was probably a five-aspect project.
Results achieved
How has Integro performed?
Integro’s accomplishment has been stellar. Integro provides a prepaid support package where we prepaid a particular quantity of hours. If we ever have an effect, we yield a ticket and they’re on top of it. The resources and the responsiveness from Integro have been fantastic. They are big.
Do you have any stats or metrics to track advancement?
We don’t have any metrics useful. We’ve been using the IBM method in total since 2004. I can share that the quantity of space required to store natural paper has probably dropped in half owing of what we’re doing to get full into a method like this rather than relying on boxes of paper on shelves.
One of the major challenges with records treatment has been that many of the vendors just don’t apprehend the separation between a time-based retention where something has a flat-fixed retention rate, such as a receipt, where it’s just a flat seven years from the date of the business. There are also events, such as a forthcoming event-based retention, where there is a retention time of perhaps seven years for a loan, but at seven years from the time that loan pays off. You can’t prophesy that with a typical ECM method. Integro apprehends the intricacies of this software.
Is there anything else that’s veritably sole or particular almost them?
Integro seems to take a authentic interest in how methods are being used, and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the methods for their clients. They propose consulting almost advancements. The resources have been very apprehensionable, and we can tell that they veritably care almost the client. It’s not just money for them, they do care almost delivering top-quality results to the client.
Do you have any advancements to hint for Integro, or is there anything you would do differently during the projects?
I have no effects with Integro. My only issue was with some of the features with the IBM suite and other platforms.
